Clan System Revamp: Battling Newbs and Inflation

  1. That does raise an interesting thought - is the clan bank only filled by tax? Or can donations be made into it as well? I'd rather avoid having a single person be able to significantly influence the buffs, so make everything uber expensive and allow donations? More fun - allowing "donations" makes the possibility of "War Reparations" feasible in a tangible way.

    One sec on these ;)

    Interesting idea - my bank design does not have a "banker" per say...but one offshoot has been making the bank a kingdom, so this would be possible. Not nearly as exploitable as allowing this with gold.

    Now, over the past few days I have been heavily, ahem "investing" time in another thread, and a link to a clan leveling system thread is posted in OP as well. I've not thought this out too much beyond this paragraph, but I guess we should consider using EBs/Wars for experience to level up, which gets access to higher buffs/abilities that must then be paid fro via the bank.

    Like I said though, not a lot of thought into that one as yet :lol:

    Also,

    Current Issues:
    A)Whether to implement the "guest" feature as a rank, or a separate roster.
    B)Whether or not to implement "Clan Experience" into the system.
    C)Whether to allow clan bank to also be filled with donations.

    We need some focused discussion on the pros and cons of these.
