Man you have a bad memory. During the pwar days ppl would jump to 4,5 clans a day. There were clans where ppl joined, unloaded on osf, then immediately left. At least with ebs there is no reason to shop around for the best osf; any clan can run one. Anyone claiming there is less clan loyalty has no basis in fact, just suffers for a selective memory. Either post some empirical proof or shop your bs somewhere else.
Kaw has the WORST clan reward/bonus feature out of any MMO I've ever played. No daily freebies, minimal clan bonus system, clunky search features, and sub-par community interactions. It's a shame, because with a few tweaks kaw would attract and retain many more customers. Oh wait, event $$$$ sinks are what they call evolving KAW. Lol
This idea kinda like fire age, except not enough items to buy for it to be implemented here in kaw but non the less hte works similar to what you described 1 unload net t1 payout 2 unloads bump you to t2 payout now if you seal an get both phases an drop 6xtals you get the big spender I'm so rich payout hope this start a trend of hte clans springing up 0 wait nvm
No I don't have a bad memory, I remember 2009-10 where loyalty was infinite. Plunder wars yes was terrible for clan loyalty but it went back to how it was after SW was revamped. It's just like how it was during plunder wars. Im not saying there arent people still loyal, but merely being loyal to clan doesn't get you build complete anymore. People are more focused on attempting to gain a status nearly impossible to obtain for most players. This is why we don't hold new players anymore. Instead the mids are all trying to keep our status and attempt to not get lost behind before new ebs and builds are released. The sad thing is nobody realizes the sentimental benefits to having a home clan anymore. To them there are barely any rewards for the average player or benefits to having a home clan other than family. People don't PVP like they use to and can slide under the radar their entire time on kaw without being hit (unlike the old days). Clan loyalty is hard to find. It's usually the clans nobody knows about that have the most. It's time for them to get recognized and to show what having a family actually means. Also, why are you so against this? How is this going to hurt the kawmmnuity? Even if your OPINION about loyalty is correct, what does it have to do with this idea? What hurts this idea? Instead it will merely benefit all the loyalty you think is running through the game. Also most LB clans are those that do B2B ebs with barely any perms. During Events players don't stay with their home clans that's why HTE clans can bounce from #100 to #50 and higher within an instance. Please post some facts before you jump on me with another opinion.
I support gifting to players, I'd Indy non stop slipping xtals to the non xtalers to get more of a chance @ a W
The idea of gifting players in some shape or forum is not necessarily a bad idea. However this thread is called "clan loyalty" and the idea that clan loyalty in 2015 is worse than it is in ,say, 2011 is a bunch of bs. The opposite is true. You're solution is interesting, although whether the problem you suggest exists is highly debatable.
You can't slip xtals with random drops and only allowing it through clans. But that's an interesting topic you brought up. Maybe players can have a limited number of times they leave a clan so they'd still be able to receive gifts when they're out for war, shouldn't affect their loyalty gain.
Never suggested that it was worse than 2011 though. I remember plunder wars, clan loyalty was dead. But clan loyalty now... could be better.
Also its not about unloading and dumping xtals, with a max loyalty bar you can still end up getting only a common gift. That's why some are common and some are extremely rare...... Being max loyalty (from being active possibly even CC could benefit your loyalty bar) only gives you lets say a 10% advantage of gaining a T6 gift. This way it won't be Hte clans benefiting like they do in item hunt events. Instead a player running b2b warbeast has the same chance. Except HTE clans don't hold members as well as clans such as APOC, WDGAF, Black Hand, New Age, and those who aren't even LB yet but have the loyalty.
