Clan Loyalty Idea

  1. I agree with huma you just can't force players to be loyal well loyalty cannot be bought I know from experience that staying in a clan that you don't really like makes it's members feel stuck so therefore more leave than stay in the end.
     
  2. Maybe the fee could be exempt for when they leave, just pay to get in. But like I said, loving the feedback, no idea is perfect

  5. Support but the fees part could be exempted because if the eb needs help,we have to pay to get in the clan and help then mercs who go to more clan have to pay every time they go in a clan.
     
  6. I'm not a massive fan of mercs, as I feel they promote clan jumping, so I feel the fees should stay
     
  7. The idea is good but loyalty is some a leader has to work for as that show he is doing a good job as lets face it there are loads of crappy leaders/clanowners
    But to reward loyalty would be good
    Maybe for the clanranks the leader can apoint it to a member he feels is loyal enough instead of days in clan to get it and put a kind of benifit to a rank like a small% xtra in plunderbonus
    The clanvault/armoury also seems a good idea but maybe do it like that members can put in equip that they not use anymore to lend out to other clanmembers but if they leave it go back into the vault so it stays within the clan
    And maybe aswell that sod and horn also could be stored in there that are won in the clan
    And maybe store some mith in there aswell that could be used for clan mith spells that would benifit whole clan at once
    Cash stored in it would be exploid as newbs could get it to grow faster without effort but if would make it that way that cash stored is only used for the clan stuff then it would be good
     
  8. Id like it more if you would incorporate disloyalty. Allow people to join the clan and after a certain amount of time they can raid the coffers and steal ot destroy the clan gold. This would add another level of complexity to recruiting new members.

    Id also like a bounty market, where kingsoms or clans could put a price on stealing a certain clans armour. Maybe a rival clan could offer say 10T in vollied gold as a reward for someone to steal a set of armour. The victim clan could try to farm till they got it back, put out a contract of thier own, or if they give up and want a new set...disband and create a new clan for and weapons/armour.

I support everything, but I believe the fee thing should be an option like button the clan can disable,as a merc I know it can be anywhere from 5-20 of us moving on one train that can get expensive.thinking about it now I like the idea of "hiring a merc" if the funds used to get us into the clan go into the merc clan vault. I know this would be a bit complex but I think all it would mean is that clan owners would have to choose what kind of clan they have example(merc,regular,etc) this would be a once off choice that can't be changed of course.

  11. Support. Regarding your point on Clan Ranks, I feel that the owner should have a set system of permissions that he can then give to each rank. For example, I make a member of my clan an admin. I set their permissions to "change clan page, change clan announcement ement, change member's titles, accept or decline clan applicant's, start Epic Battle, kick members". But then I also have another admin, who I might not yet trust with all those permissions, so I could set their permissions to "accept or decline clan applicants, start epic battle". Then I also just want a recruiter, so their rank is recruiter and they have permissions to ONLY "accept or decline clan applicants". I could also have a CO OWNER rank, that allows the one member I trust with my clan the most, to have equal permissions as i, except cannot kick me or disband clan, because of course I created it.

    Just an idea.
     
  12. Official clan ranks could be: "Clan Owner, Co owner, head admin, admin, recruiter, regular member". And I also think that the owners and admins should have a more bold or less plain colored text in clan chat, to make them stick out.
     
  13. Funny I had just finished saying in my clan cc that devs need to come up with ideas to keep clan loyalty. Was just about to start a thread and seen yours... figured I may as well add to yours.

    This is a good idea, but the way it is worded only one person really benefits with the equipment and not the whole clan. Not sure how it will add to loyalty.

    Perhaps consider the clan owner chooses a particular piece of equipment, clan flag or something similar that comes with special abilities and bonuses.
    The abilities and bonuses levels can be increased by the owner by enchanting it or increasing its level by gold. The gold is donated into a clan bank by all the clan members. This gold can not be used for anything else by the owner except for the purpose of clan equipment level up.

    Clan members then get a percentage of the equipments abilities and bonuses based on their time in the clan.
    For example:
    0% when first join.
    0.5% after 1 day
    1% after 2 days and so on...

    To get to the full 100% of the clans equipment ability or bonuses a member will need to be in the clan for 200 days (approx 6.5 months). Same applies for the clan owner. He must own the clan for 200 days to get the full 100% benefit.

    If they leave they loose the benefit. When they join another clan their benefit starts at 0% again.

    Temporary leave passes for 1 day should be made available. This allows members to aid fellow clans and also allows owner and admin to kick an inactive for the clans sake without disadvantaging the member.

    For this to work the bonuses must far exceed person equipment bonuses.

    Agreed as per my comments for item 1 above.

    Don't support this idea especially paying to leave. Don't feel its needed and will kill Merc clans and help from people when really clans need help which in some instances is a lot

    Support, can be based on total member days and the level of the clan equipment.

    Clan armoury is similar to clan bonus n if u earn it in a clan it stays at the clan..heck why not
