Note: The only exception to this, is if you are 100% DTW/DTS This is shortsighted. The single biggest complaint about this War System is very large Accounts teaming up with much smaller Accounts to exploit matching. These are the only circumstances when someone would fall into 100% DTW/DTS. Your exception is actually rewarding this behavior. Why not penalize accounts who are warring with a group significantly larger or smaller than they are when their side loses? Do their accounts not contribute to the matching? What is the logic behind giving them a free pass? Dropping this exception will motivate folks to war with like-sized accounts, which is exactly why the Individual Wars are so popular by the way. Please reconsider this. Losing side all losing and winning side all winning just makes more sense, keep it simple.
I think this is a negative change for the following reasons (I will admit now it can be abused). 1) if you draw a bad match in iwar you are now punished. IF you have done iwars you have probably seen some point of fighting or drama pre war. By removing this as an option people may be less likely to want to participate in iwar/risk losing their edges. 2) This will not stop clans like RH that was sited in another post from stacking 10 SH/1LB. The LB risks NOTHING in a situation like this. If they match a clan with mids or that the LB can hit, great it is virtually free EE/rancor levels. If they match a pure SH clan, the LB who CHOOSE!!! (EMPHASIS here you choose to be a part of that roster) has no skin in the game, sure they wont win EE they also do not lose the EE when their clan loses. If you are going to go through with this change it needs to apply regardless if you are in a clan and are DTS/DTW or you are inactive. Otherwise the system will still be abused especially by the LB/SH stacking.
Just a suggestion to the indi wars. Overall they are great. I think a tweak in duration and/or KO varieties would spice it up a bit. Not sure why they are all 10 min classic? Switch it up and throw some advantage wars in there.
Completely disagree irawh. Overall indi matches are pretty even. No such thing as a 'bad draw'. Not nearly as bad as clan war draws. At any rate, the key is participation. And for participation, you need incentive. Devs need some serious increase in incentives/rewards for s4. Both at the end and throughout the season for wars won (ie double current mith reward, give out seals, gold, etc). More participation necessarily means closer and closer matches. As for inactives, anyone inactive with high stakes on the line is surely going to be stripped and farmed. At any rate, I think inactives should lose more than 1 EE edge. I think they should lose it all. And if they have none to begin with, they need to work through their inactive EE losses before gaining any. Just my 2 cents
Well what's up with ee0 ? One of the guys in our war tonight was basically inactive (6) hits and got a 10% bonus yet if you have ee you lose it ?
Goin with what hat said, individual wars are a great idea. It's so good to see all build types trying out wars. You also don't need the commitment of a war clan. Plus it encourages clan loyalty since you don't have to commit to an EE clan (which face it, you only care about the equipment and will leave when they start losing). As far as war rewards, I don't however think that EE should reward anything other than what it already does. The game needs way more gold sinks for people to spend money on to curb inflation and stop the need for buildings and lands. Finally - and most importantly - EE wars need to be FREE! Spending 1 xtal per war is crap! War crystals need to be implemented ASAP and if wars are not free by s4, I will be VERY angry along with many others.
Ee0 is the worst idea ever a reward for losing encourages inactivity sure its only 24 hours @ 10% but just do that war when at work and after work you'd have a cheap version of EE for the time you can play anything that rewards a losing side is stupid (reminds me of grade 2 kids you all get a participation ribbon no winners or losers )
Major support on Terra's last point. War xstals are a must. Make it free. Either give war xstals or don't allow people to xstal at all. Either way make it free.
Yeah devs what's with this silent EE 0 update? You are telling me if I have no EE I can go out and lose purposely.... And get a plunder bonus
Don't forget to tell them about ee lvl 0 spell devs. When you are at ee lvl1 and your clan loses the war, your ee lvl will go to 0, however fear not you will still have a bonus of 10% for your eb plundering needs!
Terra, they tried to get war xstals and they couldn't find a way to program them without the system crashing.
Devs: "We have just removed an exploit that allows you to renew EE without participating in wars" (Silently) "here is EE 0 which gives a plunder bonus. Oh yeah, you get it for losing. So go out and lose wars for free plunder! Losing too difficult? Sleep through it!"
@3 That is just some major bull ****. They could even do it without implementing something new. Refund xtals after the war. They already know how to do that and have done it. Multiple times. If people can't manage to find 1 xtal between their ass cheeks then give everyone a free one and tell them to spend it wisely.
