Changes to plunder

  1. I was going to read the whole thread to get some insight on this important issue. Then just a few pages in the usual staving for attention rants start.

  2. Devs you really need to comment on this subject. You've been silent since the outrage started flying. Well except that 2hr 1hr 2 xstal maybe? War 6 thing. The main concern seems to be the major discrepancy in plunder you've just created. You've seem to have decided in order to keep things fair kingdom A should be able to hit kingdom B for 100m and kingdom B can retaliate for 1m. IMO that seems to be a little one sided but hell I'm just one man. I could be in the minority. If the difference is that much shouldn't there be a defender to weak/opponent to strong thing going on here? I would prefer to see it returned to the way it was but once again that's just the opinion of one man. If you're scrambling for a solution to what I perceive as the new problem you created a simple our bad we are working on it would appease most of us. I have seen a fair bit of complaints that its not fair they're to strong and they're rich. I am so far from the ally lb but I can not see the socialistic approach of everyone should be even. Why should someone that put in the time and money be punished for it. Should we all have the same build? Should we all have the same bfa? And you bfe people are hilarious wanting bfa to be weakened or a hindrance but don't touch my bfe lol. If you want it even why not punish people that won those wars and bought mith items or won those fancy purple trinkets? There will always be have and have nots. The successful people will figure out how to best use there build even if you make everything equal devs. It's just the way it is. All you have done with this change is made a new way to exploit the system and pissed people off. Why grow after HLBC just aggravate and harass those ally lb guys that were so silly and tried to grow an impressive kingdom.
     
  3. Well I'm def gonna have to eat crow on the bfe theory.

    Crunch the numbers.

    Pots give an atk boost of 205,000,000.

    Defense only give 145,000,000

    I won't tell you how much eq gives for each category - I don't want to be the only one doing crummy math on Fathers Day. But I will say that full attack pots is more than defense plus eq.

    Which brings us back to ally bonuses and their relevancy...

    By the way, I am 100% behind you on pots and their role on successful attacks.. It's not about bfe, it's about pots.

    I have an account with 120m attack on bfe, can't hit through a player that has 1m defense, 2 defense pots, and no bfe unless it uses Holy Wrath or above.

    You can do the math there, I should have a 1m stat advantage over him, yet I still fail without pots.

    Also I can't break through steals without using mind scream. He has 900k spy defense and 4 spy defense pots.

    Given his size and his small battles won(like 15k), I doubt it's any big pots.
     
  5. Also, hitting a GH that has some bfe but NO pots, I can get through without using pots.

  7. Just to add to something someone posted ....

    If a gh can hit me for 50mil
    And I hit them for 1 mil

    If devs were trying to even things out and even if the gh uses 1/4 of its troops to hit me so 4 hits on me say 2 get thru 100 mil they made if I'm successful every hit on them would take 100 hits .... But 1 bar to 1 bar of troops ? I still only get 24-26 Attacks how many crystals to lvl that out? If this is how they think leveling it out is then I should only use 1/100th of my troops returning fire at that account
     
  8. There are some allies required to level out the playing field if gh has full def pots and full eq - including stat differences (vs hlbc atk account)

    Mathmatically it should be very, very, very difficult for the gh to hit them. That's the trade off of having lots of allies.
     
  9. It's not tho wasted a gh with half decent equip can get thru on most Att builds once they are low troops and once they are coming out of ko ...
    At open a gh may not have a huge advantage but once the war goes on they get a huge plunder advantage hitting larger accounts even with moderate bfa which is the majority of kaw they can easily get thru pots with the pot advantage and equip is Att heavy too once u add all the slots together ...
    A guild hansel at 500k Att with pots and equip hits like a 2.5-3 mil static Att build
     
  10. I shouldn't be telling you this but I will.

    Somewhere in the vast reaches of kaw I have a smaller hansel build, which I do fairly well with in ee. It does fairly well for one reason only - usually it is forgotten about. My action count is usually quite high relative to other higher accounts. (To me this is why guild hansels do so well).

    In ee when troops are low it's all about that ally bonus (as far as i can tell). That doesn't change when your troops are low. Your 'static defense' does. Eq does not. (Again as far as I can tell)

    Try adding defensive ally stats to your build and see what happens.

  12. To counter the mechanic I would need 100 mill give or take in bfa.... 500 bil per 5 mil def stats that's 10 trill in allies and an Hlbc build to counter a small gh? And with the new mechanics having 10t in allies ill even earn less plunder? How does that make any kinda sense in anyone's world?

  14. It's the same with a hybrid, not just a guild hansel. That's the beauty of ee - anyone left to their own device can ko someone else if they are low in troops and not a lb bfa. ;)
     
  15. Beauty is anyone can ko anyone in ee? I think not but add ontop of that that the smallest builds now make the most plunder and is only getting worse for growth why get bigger if every advantage is to be smaller ?
     
  16. They are ignored, which is why they are so successful. Remember small accounts lose that 'static attack' when they are ko'd too.

    They made it more interesting now, adding a new dimension.
     
  17. I'm not sure who u war with but we ignore no builds specially ones that make the most plunder differential in war ... Now if u don't get wat everyone has already stated I won't be able to explain it any better sorry
     
  18. it really is sucky i have 2 ghansels with 800b crap vollied allies and max ee gear. this account has 8t in allies, and above average decent equips. i tried hittin my gh out of ee and 1 was dtw the other one gave me 600k in plunder. i hit this account with those gh, and one made 101.2m with a 3/10 success rate. now i know ppl are gonna say i have a 100% success rate and my gh only has a 30% success rate. covering pots my gh lost roughly 300m in pots and i lost roughly 130m including pots and gold loss. but i only made 6m in 10 hits. doesnt't make sense. math is bad. am i hit supposed to hit the eb and waittill my target has no att pots left?
     
  19. Will the guild hansel build become irrelevant now that so much attention will be drawn to it?

    This is all largely irrelevant anyhow. New ee wars mean new strategy.(amen!)

    I'm trying to demonstrate why allies are still necessary, in spite of the changes made.
     
  20. Guild hansels will always be a problem because of their plunder making. Why the game will never move forward till they hit that build. I never liked Guild Hansels as a player. What they should do to nerf this build if the guild hansel makes 60 mil off the attack build raise the cost of troops for the low plunder.
