Changes to plunder

  1. Idk, I already commented to this, but i really feel the need to point this out. You called me a gansel(guild hansel)...

    You are 29 on the ally lb sir. You want us to take you thoughts and opinions seriously but you can't even determine what a guild hansel is.

    You pretty much just invalidated anything you will say to me from here on out. Sorry but at your size there's absolutely nothing in this game you shouldn't know everything about.



    Any other 8mil cs guild hansels floating around kaw? :lol:
     
  2. Lol phoph  then you should know better the far reaches this update will have.

    While I'm lb I'm also passionate about kaw as a whole my views are not centred purely on my kingdom and as lb I can still be whacked by a much larger percentage of kaw then you suspect. I've not passed the fresh hold yet

  4. Please explain to me what the downside of this change is. Other than a player doesn't make good plunder off hitting someone they are so much stronger than, that they other player wouldnt even have a chance at winning. Because if thats the only argument to be put forth, it holds no water.

    Unless, like most others here, You are concerned about gansels and how they take advantage of the system as it was and as it is now. Which would be a valid concern if ATA didn't say they are working on nerfing that as well.

For those noobs who keeps talking about guild hansels taking an advantage of the system i can tell, as soon as they built their bfa and will be same strong as lb they were not taking an advantage of the plunder. Their plunder dropped same way as for other lb players. With the latest update it dropped so much that there is no point to pay developpers any more to help advance yourself. Keep yourself weak and do not pay them anymore, lol.
     
  6. So here is a thought, to wrap your heads around, lb player hits someone they get 7m for their return, the person hit loses 2.6b, so KAW makes huge profit yet person doing the hitting gets nothing for the effort, fair? Did the devs adjust what they made from the hit, I do not think so...

    Fortunately my comments aren't aimed at you but at the finance guys at ATA. When Monday am comes round and they start looking at month and quarter end projections I'm relatively confident common sense will prevail.

  8. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't a person first have to 'win' the attack in order to win the gold?

    So it shifts focus on allies from gold plunder ability/'market value' to stats.... They aren't simply holders of gold anymore. The stats you 'collect' are more relevant and prominent.

    Dear devs:

    The problem looming over the horizon wasn't bfa. You unbalanced your own system by introducing new equipment in ee - those with the best strategies (strongest) also now have the best equipment, making the strongest even more strong. Good luck getting people to ee.

    I liked the old system better, when eq wasn't as relevant, although one hour and random changes in time sure do make it more exciting.

  11. I've played this game for the longest time as most LB have. And I must say that this is almost the icing on the cake, to make your top players slowly fall out of the game.

    First was how you allow players with crap stats, achieve the on/off RANDOM success when hitting a huge LB player, which of course, makes us as LB wonder why we spend $$ to nob/crystal and grow strong. (That was why I left game for a short while, most old school players would have know that)

    Second was the towers nerf, of which it was a well meaning CG, your mod, who explained the benefits and style of playing with towers. Something which tower players lose out in daily plunder but gain when warring. How imbalanced was that? I doubt it was, but Devs listened to the many whining baby forum players who kept complaining about this war mechanism, and nerfed it.

    Than came the completely rubbish Ee wars where LB payers take part and sleep off the imbalanced match ups, the bad payout of mithril. The resetting of item bonuses, than halfway thru allowing no resets etc.
    (Before you implement something incredulous, have your own beta and try it out yourselves devs. Do not change direction mid-game, which successful company does that?)

    Now it's this rubbish plunder amendment. Who did you hire devs? Looks to me a large group of the original kaw developers have been displaced or removed. They made the game great. They made it fun. They made it wonderful to grow, make friends and enjoy what I still feel is one of the best phone game in history. Sadly, this may be your final stroke in pulling the fun outta Kaw. Whoever is your lead designer or game designer, I have no idea who you listening to or what you were thinking.

    Isn't a war game about being strong. About growing so much that people cannot hit you. This would in turn make others wanna grow strong and this again will roll over to the next player. How will these players so this? Propacks, nobs, crystals... Do these not help your pay check? You now make this ridiculous change that makes it almost pointless to want to grow strong. Incidentally, as you changed this, I feedbacked about the sudden drop in plunder when I was farming this noob.... Which now makes the game absolutely boring as what I used to earn 37m hitting him, I earn 900k!!! What is this?

    I agree with defiant whythen and all the LBs who have written in this thread.

    I do hope that you will reverse this as you are alienating all LBs from wars as most clan would not want an LB in their team. And I am sure that the bulk of your earnings are from LB who swipe almost on a daily basis.

    So I say, please please please STOP listening to all the t1-t2 stat players who just blow hot air often in the forums. Complaining on everything under the sun. You have added far too many changes that is making Kaw boring and disincentivize many of us from swiping. You have also made a huge group of respectable mods leave. If you like your game to improve. You do so by listening to core players, and not keep trying to level the playing field.

    This is KINGDOMS AT WAR!
    Rock your title and undo this newest change please.
     
  12. I'm fine with smaller accounts making more if they get through me but it's not ok to diminish my plunder as I grow or further limit who I can hit.

    I'm trying to figure out the point of being ally lb now.
     
  13. Drop your allies and see how easy it is to hit you.

    (For all):

    In a land far far away there was this button called 'allies'. Clicking on it gave you four catagories:

    Atk bonus, def bonus, spy attack bonus, spy defense bonus

    (Also a bunch of useless crap too)

    It's an interesting change for sure, forcing lb players to hit ebs for gold, while enticing smaller people to hit them in a lottery style victory for gold.

  15. I had hit EBs to get equipment and rarely thereafter. They have their uses but I'm just not interested in them.

    Most players won't spend tons on nobs so they can grow only to have to hit EBs. The feedback I've seen on this thread from other ally lb players is along the same lines.

    As with any changes, time will tell. One thing is for sure for me, it'll considerably cut down my spending.
     
  16. With the new equipment I can personally hit up to Allie lb 200 or so with reasonable success and this account is small in comparison with ok equip not even the best ... If this is to be the change then allies bonus should be increased from .2 to like .5 or more if I'm going to make that much more plunder then they are hitting me my success rate should be far less ... That's the only way to make allies worth their weight ... I'm sorry but an Hlbc account with decent equip can hit into the top 100 Allie lb u have any idea wat they have invested in the game how much wat they payed for made this game wat it is/was ?

    All I'm saying if ur going to handicap owning allies in this manner u should at least give them more weight make it worth actually owning them otherwise there is no point

    For those saying lb players are untouchable that is true at a point but only the top 45-50 players are there for 95% of kaw
     
  17. It's still a lottery - when people realize they probably lose more in failed attacks with pots than the random success and 'big' payout they'll settle down
