The demise of the NDP says more than anything n by that i mean many ppl unimpressed with Harper voted Liberal from NDP previous election. Alberta lost out to the NDP provincially for the 1st time in eons was a precursor.

 

When in doubt just do this 

 

Pundits across the land were predicting it a close election but idk how they arrived at that conclusion.

 

Canada votes right wing when right of centre is a mess.
Minority govt when no solid choice available.
Bloc Quebecois is now nowhere to be seen.

Harper capitalized on the above but ousted now with better opposition faced.
