Hansels/pure spies have always been a hot topic. It's been said before that pure spy was over looked by devs from the very beginning. That's why plunder wars were stopped. They never saw it coming. Just another tweak now with GH getting adjusted. It will still be a decent starter build, just won't be helpful with the exploit taken away. The people that have dropped builds or purposely stopped growing will be forced to grow up. The beginners will still reap the benefits as most of kaw has now. When I started kaw we had to be an attack build to grow and protect ourselves. With eb's you can grow very quickly as a spy, GH or not.
1. Op you are a hypocrite for making fun of someone saying needing makes this game easy while you just sit in eb and "make it harder" for others. 2. You sound like a brat. Bosque~
Guild Hansel was here before SOS and vol's . It's the newer spy buildings that were made too weak / inadequate plunder. This is like a right wing government taking money from the poorest in society rather than adjusting taxes in higher levels of society . Way to go devs...
Elric. That is probably the smartest argument I've heard on the side GH. Not just boo hoo. I agree that the new spy buildings didn't give as much plunder as we all thought they would. Hansels get bigger drops, gold and equip it seems (I have spy alts. It's awesome). Mechanics favour spy builds in war mode, they are also necessary to strip your opponents these days. There has to be balance in the game, that's why GH are being adjusted. Still a great starter build, but is rendered useless in terms of the exploits: big plunder earned, very little plunder given when hit, can hit too far up the war roster considering their CS and build value, and they allow LB like accounts to lower war roster CS to gain lopsided matchups in ee. This had to be fixed. Get over it and get growing like the rest of us
I'm not crying wash. This is just an alt, so no big deal. But I do think devs should have corrected the stats of SOS and Vol's rather than guilds that have been around since the start of kaw. The programming of the later spy buildings is at fault not the guilds
It seems to me that the kaw community and devs have missed an opportunity. If there had been sn increase to stats and plunder on SOS and vols then there would have been a much more positive response and no gloating ... Ah well guess yelling foul is more fun ...
Not everyone was a GH at some point. My first account was forges then subs. Before t4 ever existed. The GH has been a mistake for a while. Get over it already. It's not that hard to grow.
It'd be nice to see the higher spy buildings gain more plunder, but the reality is that guilds make more than just about every building plunder wise. That's why it's being altered down and the other spy buildings not raising higher. It's to try and equalize the strength of a low level building that's frankly way too high
Elric I said you were he only one that wasn't just crying about it. That you brought a good point up. I also said that the lack of plunder that each spy build makes was to add balance to the game. Spies are overpowered with eb and war mechanics as is. They are a very necessary build to have in any situation. They also have to have drawbacks ie. lack of plunder and stat% increase, or everyone would be a spy build and kaw would suck. GH are not being nerfed. They are being adjusted so that they are only useful as a started build. Not as an exploit "hack" build. Devs are making it necessary to choose a path from that point now. Not allow GH to be an end game build.
Look at this logically. A 49 guild build makes like 95 million ally plunder on HtE. An account with 57 buildings, 13 of them are t6 makes 98.5 million ally plunder. Where is the logic? That's why the guilds are being reduced. They are over powered. A 60 bil in buildings account should not make equal or more than an account that has spent trillion plus. Simple facts and logic. The GH players cry over a mistake that's been ignored for 2 years. Yes, the Devs slacked in this by taking this long, but it's only logical that a low level building shouldn't exceed the higher level buildings.
