Bridging the Gap

  1. I think it would be interesting if new players could enter a "mock" war.

Basically a pre scripted war with a tutorial walk thru.

  2. Thankyou, for actually coming up with an idea and contributing to the discussion. You should help some of the guys in the earlier pages out.

I like it too, interesting idea.

  3. It was a hypothetical, thanks for pointing it out to him <3

  4. This thread took a turn for the better in the last 3 pages. Front, Cheese, Onesy, V - anyone up for a sleepover? 

I like the ideas people posted, particularly about the tier rewards and the actual discussion that's going on.

  5. I'm up for a sleepover ^0^

  6. I just want adult size jammies with the booties built into them!

And Sasuke isn't allowed more than 20 questions whether they are the right ones or not

oh and V has to tell Frog he is the almightiest bestest never been beatenest ASW'er this side of the abyssal hoarfrost line

Ah screw it, let's just build a fire and make some s'mores :) I bet newbs would stick around for s'mores!

  7. Hmm a sleepover? If im there we won't be sleeping but we will certainly be up if you know what I mean

  8. Jesus, front. You can be my sleepover planning consultant any time. What's your rate? 

  9. Thing is, the gap exists in all apps. Difference is, other games you feel competitive in. Kaw is stuck in the 2009-2010 app market but the app market has evolved while kaw hasn't. Instead of adopting principles of modern top grossing apps kaw has chosen to push the outdated model of older apps.

Supercell has two of the top ten grossing apps; a company worth 3 bil. Instead of trying to imitate this company in any way kaw has gone the route of older app practices.

In clash of clans I don't need to pay 10 gems (1 xtal) to participate in clan wars. In boom beach I don't need to pay treasures to do operations. I can pay to advance but don't have to to feel competitive.

Vegas slots and candy crush also rank higher. These games appeal to a much wider audience, but also grab the repeat customer and the new customer. With much more f2p content. Kaw doesn't grab the same demographic.

With the evolution of the app market, kaw has failed to adapt. In return, it plummets out of the top apps, fails to attract new recurring revenue, and loses previously happy consumers.

Kaw at its present state is not sustainable.
