Um, no. First of all the Ferguson grand jury was composed of seven men and five women. Nine were white and three were black. Only four jurors needed to agree that there wasn't enough evidence to charge Wilson. No one knows how they voted. That information wasn't released. So when you say: "In the end black people on the grand jury heard the same evidence as the rest and found no probable cause" You're talking out your ass. You don't know. Same goes for: "who btw still chanted "Hands up, don't shoot!" Which was totally disproved by the evidence and eyewitness testimony." Witness gave conflicting statements, which is common. People see different things. That doesn't mean they're lying, or wrong. Nor did the prosecutor prove or disprove anything. He simply presented the witnesses for testimony, which by the way, is available on the internet. If you'd bother to read it, you'd know that some some eyewitnesses said his hands were up, others said they weren't. Which ones are right is up to the jury to decide. And while you think the Grand Jury's decision "proves" his hands weren't up the fact is, this wasn't a trial. That's an important distinction. In a trial, evidence is presented and allowed to be refuted. Witnesses testify and are cross examined. Everything is examined and both sides have their say. That didn't happen here. What happened here was a possibly biased DA basically held a months long closed trial with no judge in which the DA's office controlled everything. That's why people are pissed. To return an indictment a prosecutor only has to show that there is "probable cause" to believe that the accused committed a crime. That would have been easy to do had the prosecutor being acting like a prosecutor representing the victim. Here's the stats: "Former New York state Chief Judge Sol Wachtler famously remarked that a prosecutor could persuade a grand jury to “indict a ham sandwich.” The data suggests he was barely exaggerating: According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, U.S. attorneys prosecuted 162,000 federal cases in 2010, the most recent year for which we have data. Grand juries declined to return an indictment in 11 of them...Wilson’s case was heard in state court, not federal, so the numbers aren’t directly comparable...Still, legal experts agree that, at any level, it is extremely rare for prosecutors to fail to win an indictment." http://fivethirtyeight.com/datalab/ferg ... en-wilson/ McCulloch didn't even recommend charges. He left it entirely up to the jury. After he buried them in evidence and let Wilson testify. Why? Because McCulloch didn’t want an indictment. McCulloch wasn't acting as prosecutor. McCulloch was acting as Wilson's attorney.
Idk if you listened to the whole thing but McColluch confirmed that blak individuals on the grand jury voted for no idictment. They were subjected to the same evidence as the rest. And yes, the "hands up don't shoot" thing was pretty much discredited for anyone not graspig at straws. McColluch said his hands might have been in an upward position but just as many said they were anywhere from in a running position, clenched fists or in his waistband. And Brown was moving towards Wilson and not complying. This is consensus. It wasn't a hands up surrender motion, so the call to arms of "hands up don't shoot" just does not apply now that evidence is actually used.
Anyways,'those protesters have THIER rights, but it isn't too necessary to destroy THIER own buisnesses.
They have a right to assemble PEACEFULLY. Notice how the police didn't do anything until People and property were being threatened.
No, he didn't. "Robert McCulloch said the grand jury of nine whites and three blacks decided that "no probable cause exists" to file charges against Wilson, who is white, in the death of Brown, who was black. He said he did not know how the jurors voted, as their votes are kept secret. But, he said, a decision on criminal charges requires agreement from at least nine of the 12 jurors." http://www.capradio.org/news/npr/story? ... =366506585 See the part that says "He said he did not know how the jurors voted, as their votes are kept secret"? McCulloch has no idea how anyone voted. Neither do you. Furthermore, you're contradicting yourself. "McColluch said his hands might have been in an upward position but just as many said they were anywhere from in a running position, clenched fists or in his waistband...so the call to arms of "hands up don't shoot" just does not apply now that evidence is actually used." How does the call of "hands up don't shoot" not apply when McColluch himself admitted Brown's hands might have been in an upward position? The testimony is contradictory. Just because you choose to believe the witnesses who said they weren't doesn't mean the call doesn't apply. It just means you think it doesn't.
Does anyone know how a taser acualty works and how accurate they are. If he missess with the taser he is opening himself to being attacked. Who in there right mind charges someone with a gun pointed at them. Its not a video game. The physical evidence backs up the report of the cop and the truthful witnesses. The cop didn't wake up in the morning look in the mirror and say I think I will shoot the someone today. The cop has to live with this the rest of his life. And all the report of the parents ask for peace is false. You can watch the video of her adding to the problem last night. And for all who say I dont know what was going on over there I from the area. So before you pass on judgment read the evidence and make an educational opinion on the subject
http://www.kmov.com/special-coverage-001/ferguson-files read that first before you make another stupid comment on how mike brown was not at fault
It doesn't apply because Brown wasn't complying with Wilson. His hands could have been up, but it wasn't to tell Wilson "Don't shoot" like the protesters are doing. Therefore it isn't relevant to Brown.
They should find him in a civil court of excessive force, both officers fired 10 shots into him. To make matters worse people saw the cop finish him off by walking up to him and shooting him in the head. Thing is, an officers word is "gold" and they "don't lie". I'm expecting a riot in Los Angles as well because we are a riot city.
Again, you don't know that. You weren't there and the testimony from the witnesses is contradictory. It's simply irrelevant to you because you've decided it is.
Go for it moron. Tell u what though. Any 'protester' threatens me or my family will get a bullet in the head too. Sorry...no taser. And those 'protesters' will perpetuate yet another generation of poverty stricken puppets for the likes of obama, sharpton and jackson to use for their own gain.
