Just make the most of your life find a new hobby to occupy your time and try to just keep moving forward. I lost a close friend in October and I chose to immerse myself in school and different aspects of my life I could try to improve. I'm sure it's bad now but it'll get better.
Excercise, excercise, excercise. If you have a few pounds, you'll slim down. Already in shape? Get in better shape. It keeps you healthy, physically, but more importantly, it helps keep you mentally and emotionally healthy and easier to fight off the depression.
More time to drink & kaw. As the great Snoop Dogg once said, "I'm heart broke but still loc, man forget a female dog".
You can do this without having any sort of relational loss. I just look at the fact I haven't had the blessing of getting that far in the first place.
