@ violence. As was stated earlier, the Devs have supported new players being volleyed and have given both a forum post about it, along with a WC post to hire them when a new player enters the game. If the intent was to help the new player, then it would take a volley of over 1B to really help them financially. It also opens the door for dialogue which connects the player to other players in the game leading to the KAWmunity effect that holds their attention.
I totally agree with you. However with all the aid given to new players, volleys are not really as relevant as they were. We get all 25 ll opened, 10 xstals and 100% plunder bonus. Unfortunately, those don't give much if we are unable to get to max plunder. Therefore creating a vicious cycle. The only thing I can think to rectify the situation is mindful volleying, taking the volley to the players worth and not over inflating.
Not really. This game isn't even in top 150 grossing apps anymore, I don't know what number it is. When you think of the amount of people that buy seals you'd think they'd at least be in the top 150, nope. Even after 3/4 years this game still stood strong ranked around 40-80 top grossing.
Simple fact of the matter is that the game is on the down rather than the up. Why do you think they added promotions for new players? As the Architect once said, "She is going to die and there is nothing you can do about it"
Inflation is a part of every game economy. Accept that and you will have no problem playing the game. By "inflation", I mean not only the in-game currency but also the VALUE of every factors that is within the mechanics of the game. Btw, you grow not by quotations but by being adept and fast-learner.. FYI, Im a NEW PLAYER in KaW, too.
I'm not a new player, just a new account, so my "quotation" is irrelevant in your argument. Simply stating my opinion on the lack of new players staying with the game. If you can accept that then you have grasped the concept of my post.

It would be better for the game no doubt if new players had a shot at getting Max plunder. I checked on an alt a few months ago and I think 7-800m was the range you could hold onto an ally. I would watch some of the bigger (really not big at all) people volleying allies out of range of smalls. I agree with op there is no reason to do this. Sure volley wars between smalls is great it generates gold for both of them and starts fights. Watching people volley a 1b ally out if the range of a small is chosing 50m in profit over the success of a new player.
