The funding raised for cancer race for life a women's event may actually state breast cancer but the money is used to further all cancer fields of research. But yes even those doing it are trying to change the image and get more recognition for other cancer types and men directly involved in events. But working with what we have support the event. And you support the whole fight against cancer. Crowd sourced revenue is essential to advance the research and cures / vaccines.

Support. Narwhal it's breast cancer awareness month that's why she suggested it. Maybe during prostate cancer awareness month you can suggest a banner for that one and stop being so ignorant. I've watched many people in my life die from all kinds of cancer and not one ever classed themselves as "more special" then any others. They didn't class themselves as special period. Quite the opposite in fact.
I've never agreed with ireg...ever, but that was funny I think supporting the fight against cancer in general is a great idea, regardless of type. As long as it goes toward a cure, it's all good World Cancer Day is February 4th of each year. I don't believe it has it's own color, but I say pink is good for that too. Great idea Steph, and a unique way to raise funds for something so important!
