If u watch the news the whole time they showed one car burning for about a hour.can anyone explain to me how that reflects burning down a city.it doesn't it's just another case of the media trying to make the peaceful protest seem anything but peaceful.they just want to get the arm forces on the street to stop the peaceful protest .its all a scam.
Well, I'm sure it's easy to assume that by the media showing mobs of people looting and only showing snipits of a group of protesters marching. But, do take into consideration: Just because people were standing around, just because were downtown, just because people were there, doesn't mean they were rioting. They were just there. Like the reporters. Even if that is true, should what happened during those days encompass what the six days of protests did?
A protest is supposed to gain awareness the protest failed. The riot is what gained awareness sadly. Regardless no matter what the 6 days of protests served as nothing other than saying some of them are rational people that don't take every opportunity to riot. In that aspect they succeeded a little
I disagree. No, the protests didn't fail. The media wouldn't have covered it like they did if they didn't protest. Albeit they did wait for riots to happen. The protesting did what the video of him being arrested did, brought more attention to the situation. If you look at the news, the leaders of the protests, and Fredy Gray's family, stated that they wanted peaceful protests only. Even in the midst of the riots they said this. From what I'm perceiving from you, you seem to think protesting anything, or, just this, will do nothing at all and trying to show support this way isn't helpful at all? How would you propose people should show support besides protesting?
A car was burning. Or more. If you take out to burnings or looting was just a peaceful protest. Damn media that presented a peaceful protest as a not peaceful one.
Yes. That's my point. It only takes one person to burn that car. One person to turn a peaceful protest into a riot.
never said protesting did nothing I said it was overshadowed by the riots and I perceive it to have failed. Don't jump to inferences. They tend to be worthless compared to observations.
Well it's a good thing I said I perceived you as saying that and not saying you did say that. And it was a damn good thing it was a question in which you did clear it up for me. Thank you.

A bunch of black teenagers beating a 61 years old white man. But in the article you won't see any mention about skin color of attackers and victim. If this would be the other way around the article would sound like this "a grup of WHITE teenagers has beaten an 61 years old BLACK man" and people would yell "racism" and will protest. Peacefully of course.
That's the fault of the Media and the writer alone. No one else's. Also, it is your constitutional right to be able to protest anything as long as it's peaceful. Some people forget that racism can be called out by BOTH sides and that racism ISNT gone. I know a certain three letter group that does speeches on a variety of certain race and can do it publicly.
I think racism card is pulled too easy, AJ. If i tell a black guy to **** off i'll get a "what??? Just because I'm black! You racist pig!". If I tell it to a white guy all i get is a "ummm...ok! **** off". When a white guy is fired he's fired because he suck. Black guys always claim they are fired because they are black. I'm not saying racism don't exist anymore. But for sure not at the level inducted by media. And I hope you are not talking about the Klan. The Klan its just a pathetic joke these days.
Those are pretty much stereotypes now. I've heard some funny things from all races on why they've gotten fired. All in good humor. Indeed, some people pull the race card. But, if it isn't true and it isn't slandering someone, it's fine. Accusations are nothing. Also, I'm going to call malarkey on your cussing point. It just depends on the person the reaction. 9/10, if you tell an african American that, he isn't going to waste time in telling you that it's racist. Lol. We are just more easy to anger then others.
Raceism does exist. But its not because white people r racists. I just took my son, wife and nephew on a nice amusement park tour and in line a no older then 11 year old black girl said she wouldn't ride in the same row with any white person. But ya only white people can be racists
If I say "blonde girls are hotter than redheads" am I a "hairist"? Because if i say "white girls are hotter than black girls" for sure I'd be called a "racist". Even if I'd call myself just superficial for not paying much attention to their brain and hearts.
I'm sure everyone has a racism story, lol. See, the problem lies with older people who lived in the times when racism was heavy. They carry that hatred for the other race down the line to where we are now. The line needs to be broken at some point, but, it will never be broken. There will always be lose who will hand it down for life. Again, racism is done by both sides. Just because one side is more transparent than the other side doesn't mean it isn't there.
@Akura, I think that's more along the lines of just saying your sexual preference than racism. I have a preference of brunettes and blondes
I think we should have a law. White guys be allowed to bang only black girls. Black guys to bang only white girls. Next generations will be all mixed. Problem solved. No more racism. P.S. if legends are true, white girls will be the lucky ones.
Your right and let's be honest here. Most white people don't teach their children to hate other races but most other races teach their children to hate whites.
