Are defencive buildings worth it anymore?

That's what you have... Gimme 2 minutes to brew me some of my coffee.

 

Defensive* spell it right at least.

 

You dont know when youre going to get into an OSW, that being said if your clan has been in more than 1 or 2, you need them.

My former main was 2mcs and had several osw's done.

This account is now my main, and stats mean little as opposed to mass strip funds, mith stores, coordination, and various clan strip warning systems

 

Dave, do you know what's the most dangerous on that list?

 

Coordination by far

 

Towers are a good choice if you plan on warring or get farmed often. Or like Eric said osw.

 

Nothing quite like getting 20-30 people, pinning a target, burning their pots, then opening em up for WC. Coordination, love it, learn it.

@A1 defense tower lower your plunder, not raise it

 

Freak did raise an interesting poiny albeit unintentionally. There is a difference between defence twrs and defence builds though. I won't build defence twrs and defence blds but this is strictly my opinion:
1) For eb, defence twr do not contribute to plunder and is therefore pointless. Defence blds actually gives slightly higher plunder than attack blds; so worth considering.
2) For osw, to defend against strip you need sdp not dp. People attack to annoy but attack stats do not feature much since the objective is to burn opponents' gold and stealing is way more effective.
3) For sw, if you wish to war at the highest level, you will hv to be hyperactive and inadvertently, will be fighting from pin. So defence stats are meaningless. In principle, the less active you are the higher defence stats you need.

 

Unless you feel like getting the **** smacked out of you during a strip, they are very worth it.
