Apple VS FBI

  1. True. You would think The phone company it's registered under should have logs of text messages (in full detail), and phone calls.

  2. Apple should be forced to unlock the phone however the program to do so should remain in Apple possession. Besides in this case Apple will lose in court anyways not to mention the nsa could write the program probably faster if they already haven't don't so!!!

  3. Actually, it was stated that the phone stopped backing up to iCloud a few days before. What they want is the information in those few days.

  4. Yeah! Who cares about freedom and liberty?!

  5. This isn't how it is being reported where I am hence the difference in our opinions I suspect, I agree fbi shouldn't be involved or be handy a back door.

I would also want a court order to be used on a case by case basis.

  6. I'd say it will be a sad day for freedom.

If Apple fails; regardless of Apple's business practises of which is in the user agreement.

It will be the start of goverment required backdoors in tech; under the banner of "homeland security"

Sure using the "terrorist angle" is a good sell have ppl support breaking into this particular iphone, it would not end there.

Gain an inch; go for a mile

  7. Sleuthing isn't in the detectives handbook anymore. That would require work.

  8. Lol, simple resolution, remove the sim, take it to the internet provider - text messages, phone calls, data used on what etc. no need to unlock for that case.

    Or

They could just ask for their iCloud/iTunes ID and Password and have everything download onto a separate phone. If they don't have either, Apple have 100% all coding, used pin codes etc. all they have to do is tell them the last used code. Put the udid in and bang, they have everything they need to find out how to unlock the damn phone.

  9. The problem isn't just whether the government could be trusted with it, it should never be coded in purely because humans are greedy.

    Next headline:

Ex-Apple Employee selling backdoor for billions!

  10. When they unlock phones in Apple stores it erases all content ..actually anyone can do this there's even instructions how on the Apple website.

....if the iPhone was an S model wldnt it be easier to hack the SIM card then the phone itself? So it doesn't lock after 10 tries (Idk ...wondering)

  11.
  12. You know, with all this hi-tech stuff government agencies have... You'd think they'd be able to ascertain the passcode of a crappy smartphone.

  13. Apple had no back door hack into their devices they tried to cover their bases but every time a jailbreak is made exploits are bought up that can unlock an iPhone  that Apple typically pretend they don't exist until they patch them lol

  14. iPhones are the hardest phones to Break into.

  15. The thing is if you back up the phone, wipe the data and then restore it the password is removed XD

  16. I find that hard to believe.
Did we forget the fappening where a lot iCloud accounts got hacked?

  17. What if they didn't use iCloud?

  18. "Maple is tracking you"

  19. Or just do what I suggested earlier
