Mmmmmmmm McNugget. There are many websites dedicated to wildlife emergency care. I'd suggest google for legit tips over kaw forums
Go get some millet and mix it with water and spoon feed it to the bird. Just like feeding a human baby babyfood. Also make sure the baby stays warm, Id suggest making it a little area and putting like a desk lamp near it. Baby birds are relatively easy to raise
Depends on the type of bird. For example, feeding a pigeon with spoon may cause it to choke and suffocate. I found syringe to be the safest way. Google the bird, it will help to know the kind of feeding that's natural by parents. For sure get the lamp but make sure temp isn't too high. If I remember correctly about 102 was perfect. Baby will be sensitive to change of temperature and if it's too cold it'll slow down the metabolism..It's all online really
Wet bread with water or milk n try feeding it that. If it lives longer then try small insects. Fk all the heartless jacka$$es that trolling this thread!!!!
Try putting it out of its misery. It would much more merciful to break it's neck then try to "rescue" it
Compassion in people now days, sadly, has disappeared from humanity. At what point did people start being born without souls? The evil comments over this poor bird are just amazing. Birds can live without a leg in most cases. There is a way to simply splint the leg with a tooth pick, but Google the correct way to do it. Also, try to match the type of bird by looking at the parents. Does the bird still have down type feathers? You definitely need to know what type of diet it needs. Syringe feeding is a good idea, but need to find out what kind of species it is. Place the baby bird in an small plastic container similar to what strawberries are purchased in. Place the container on top of a heating pad, medium heat, to keep the baby warm. Soak hard dog food in warm sugar water for an hour until it becomes soft. The food will become the consistency of oatmeal, maybe slightly thinner. Not too wet, as the liquid can go into the bird's respiratory system. There's other data on the web, but that's the basics. Very important to keep the baby bird warm or it will go into shock and it will not eat. Will be impossible to get it to eat if it's too cold. Making a splint is easy, but make sure whatever tape you use, it is able to easily come off. Don't put any adhesive on the birds leg that sticks to the skin. Use gauze to wrap the leg, splint both sides then use easily releasing adhesive to create a secure splint that will not poke or cause further damage. The leg will heal, but birds have hollow bones so be gentle. Hope this helps until you can get professional help. Heat is the key to feeding and healing with babies.
It's actually a neat process raising a baby bird. I've raised my sun conure and African grey from littttttle bitty things. My sun conure actually had like five feathers when I got him.
I can't do much here but in this thread I clearly see the difference of two kinds of people... It's heart-warming whenever I read someone who search to help and give someone a tip. Especially to OP, ow... I do agree that warmth is really needed since they are sensitive when young and have no feathers. I wish that baby bird will survive. When it grew feathers you may want to teach it to fly (or put it back into their nest with or without feathers). Will you plan to keep it until it has feathers or put it back to their nest when it's leg is healed by the way?
People arent heartless cause they joke on this thread....the matter at hand is that someone can access the internet to play a game.....ask questions and potentially wait many hours to get a response. Why did they not just google it themselves and learn what they needed instead of coming to kaw (which is a 9 plus game) and ask for answers....they deserve to be trolled and I salute all those that stepped up to smash stupidity with their finest.....
.......... yeah....... you had a point........ I didn't say heartless... Everybody is kind, just in different ways...... but you had a point. All of the people who help said that it comes from searching in google or something............. I can't guess the truth, so I'm gotta go to other threads instead.......
