Another innocent teen gunned down.

  1. To agree with hit man again. This was a truly excellent read.
And until you have served I'm law enforcement and face their arduous role in impossible climates of hate and resentment, when their first desire is to help those who's lives they can possibly better even if it costs them their own.
My thanks and utmost respect to the men and women that devote their lives to allowing is to live our lives in a free nation in a society upheld by law.

  2. The teen was not innocent, he was armed and ready to use his weapon.

That being said, the officer did not need to shoot, but should have rather just used the gun as a fear tactic to get the kid to comply.

  3. I'm still not completely sure if the OP was completely written in sarcasm.
But if it was written in sarcasm, I agree with him.

**** all the protesters at the Ferguson.
**** Obama for not condemning the riots in Ferguson.
**** all the people pulling the racist card.

  4. Support 3x

  5. Reread the OP:). And the kid raised a gun. What the officer was supposed to wait just in case he didn't shoot to kill? Nope. Sorry. I don't want to take your life but threaten mine and its done

  6. I say the "I can't breathe" dilemma in New York was straight up murder, but the other recent cases were self-defense.

  7. ^Correct, for as far as we know

  8. By far the best read of this thread.

How exactly was what the officer did wrong? Sure, he could of just used a taser, but how good would that had been if the person was aiming a gun at you ready to shoot?

Now the thing that I must say I am still surprised about is how the media uses this. The only reason these things get blown up is because they can use them to gain profit. The media is a ****** up business.

  9. The world needs another US news feed?

  10. I guess Paul Harvey thinks all police officers are men.

Let me get this straight...2 cops are assassinated in New York and this kid then thinks it's a good idea to point a gun at a cop...Genius of the year award.

I believe that is called natural selection at work

  11. I cannot speak for the most recent incident of a black male being killed by a police officer but as far as the mike brown and Eric garner cases go as well as for those who believe the "the officer feared for their life/has the same right to protect them self as us" is justification for shooting an unarmed teen I disagree. Police are PROFESSIONALS and should not be making juvenile mistakes resulting in the lives of unarmed civilians/fugitives. They carry pepperspray/mace, night sticks, and tasers, not to mentioned being trained to take down enemies of equal or larger size without endangering the suspects life. My question is if you are taught all of these things and to use them first, why was a gun drawn in the first place? The first two case were up close so it's not like those means were unrealistic ways to deal with the situation and if said means had been used then this case would likely not have made it to mainstream media. Regardless of what or how a suspect is behaving, the police are the TRAINED professionals and should be held to a certain standard as such.

  12. Support

  13. I failed to realize that (with maybe the exception of number 3) these were all crimes punishable by immediate execution via police officer

  14. Agreed. That's what 2 of how many?

  15. Do you even know any black parents to base that opinion on?

  16. Garner was attacked by the cop, you guys see the video? My get have it filmed of the plain clothes cop being the aggressor.

There was a punk who told the cop Garner was selling cigarets. The punk previously started a fight and Garner had broken it up, the kid wanted revenge. So he made up the cigarette thing.

The cop attacked Garner by surprise the issue issue is his probable cause doesn't apply he never called in for the arrest. Instead after killing Garner cops showed up and no one attempted to revive the man.

They won't review the case because a Ku Klux Klan officer got clan caught red handed.

  17. Don't like it stay off. If you have something else then make a thread. Easy

  18. I did.

Here is my opinion. Garner felt he was not at fault for what the officers were accusing him of.

When the officers told him to turn around and put his hands behind his back, he refused.

The takedown was rough..because Garner was fighting them. The chokehold, was applied for the takedown and until they were able to grab Garners hands and handcuff him.

Now, I don't agree with the chokehold. Nor the officer pushing his face into the ground. That was disrespectful.

But it was then when he then suffered a heart attack. From the stress of being wrestled to the ground.

I've wrestled dudes before. I've been in chokeholds. Garner was repeatedly saying "I can't breathe even after the 10 second chokehold was applied and released.

He had a heart attack. Period.

IMO had he not resisted arrest and just turned around and got cuffed - he would have been fine.

Black, white, red, brown, yellow...I don't care what color you are. If you resist arrest, you will be taken by force. It's what officers deal with every day.

Everyone is innocent. Just ask everyone in prison. 99% are innocent. Garner was a big guy, and likely not used to listening or taking orders from anyone. Rest his soul, but he died fighting his arrest leaving us all debating.

Again, I don't blame police. I blame him.
