What about having larger war rosters. More incentives to war. Like more gold payout at the end or rewarding winners with a free xstal. I like the bfa cap, but could it be a bigger factor in wars. The increase build payout is something we have been asking about. This may finally affect sh builds. This is a great first step. There can be more fixes, but at least u are making it were more build varieties can war now. Let's have an increase in bigger war rosters 20 to 30 man. Not every war but a few to mix it up. A 2 hr war would be nice to but don't want to push my luck. I gave a b for ideas let's see what changes happen before I give final grade.
Remember when EE was about warring with your whole clan? When you left your clan it took away your Edge. EE was originally about clan loyalty. Now its all SH stacking from WC. People can't war unless they rip down their build or pay hundreds of rl money. Let's go back to the original EE
What about the issue where super sh DROPS allies to get out of range? BFA cap should work both ways. As a matter of fact, make allies untouchable when WOC cast so there no manipulation. Bank before matchup or buy pots/bb.
The only thing which hurts everyone, is this BFE scaling with troops. Instead of releasing rewards which are static stats. Devs should have rewards with percentage base for season 4. Small spy builds will not get the full benefits as everyone else, unless they upgrade. If anything devs, please make this BFE scaling a game type, not a foundation to how these wars will be carried out. By weakening our BFE, big builds will not be able to defend either.
EE WILL ALWAYS BE UNFAIR AND EXPLOITABLE. End of story. Unless you a randomly places in a clan like the ASW a year or so back, meaning you can't have any set up roster. But then it eliminates the whole fighting with your buddies. Therefore, why not just start improving the goddam PvP mechanics of the game
This is a valid point and something we're also looking at in our consideration for this sort of ally cap. War roster size is something we would love to see increased, however with participation currently not enough large rosters would sign up, resulting in many more no matches and bad matches than smaller rosters. Once we have a decent turnout and people have faith in wars once again a larger roster is very much a possibility
If you scale BFE, then BFE becomes nothing more than a non-static CS equivalent. Allies and towers then become the only static component. If that is true, then doesnt that make ally heavy players become that much more impregnable and small towered builds (think towered SH) become dominant? Or am I misunderstanding that--which is always a possibility. As for ally power, Station's suggestion of a "maximum ally cap" has some merit, as you would at least limit the static power of ally heavy builds for EE wars. If it were something like 50 million raw stats (or equivalent to 1 MCS equivalent) it would greatly level the playing field. Further, no "after matchup" ally buying/selling would also help with those people who try to game the system by buying allies after matchup. Just my initial reactions to some of the changes. Cheers, Kage
Pvp is way to go. Just need plunder bonuses. You farmed a noob you found 2 billion of gold hidden in their kingdom
Also. Another concern y'all might wanna keep in mind. This game has become extremely pve based. You might wanna watch to make sure these shifts don't severely up your pve based player bases win/lose ratio
I always thought that kaw was a growth driven game. The issue was the smallest builds being the fiercest in system wars. This came due to them being able to hit and succeed big builds due to this BFE. The BFE scaling for troops is a double edged sword. It will hurt everyone. Want more numbers to play and more users to burn crystals? Solution is simple, great rewards, new game types to breath life in this game. I hope to live to see the day 3 clans war. Would be very interesting.
This is part of the work the developers have been doing. Not just with PvE but system wide. There are a lot of systems in game that can be affected by even a small change, so we're working to thoroughly test everything we can.
Will say it again make pay based off attacking build not defending. This will encourage people to grow. Also lock allies after matchup like equipment/buildings. Now you are done with fixes and it is not over complicated to implement and should not screw with PvE system or othwr game mechanics. I believe you are overthinking the problem.
Re: An Update on What happens when clans start just dropping equipment, if bonuses scale and it makes you pay more, why even wear it? While I love these changes, unless it works off max possible BFE for each slot it won't work
I'm the first to give u crap most threads I'll admit that but this will be the first time I can say u made a thread and actually answered real questions not just the easy ones ... I know u can't give specifics out till they are ready I just hope by u telling us and allowing the feed back and q
