I'm hoping that it's the mix of fixes The section that talks about closing the gap of plunder between 2 builds If they unequip the gap is larger their for a larger increase in plunder adjustment making the hit pay almost the same with out without equip on much smaller or much larger builds Therefore sh warring without equip would still pay nearly the same as one with equip but would be far weaker at full bars making it prudent to war with equip atleast they could win a few hits

Well played It_Burns_When_I_PVP. :lol: Yes, yes I did reserve a place on page 38… lol because I wanted to relay my thoughts (in case the powers that be are still reviewing this thread). Specific responses to the proposed solutions: 1) Equipment's effect on war – I like it, agree. I think BFE should be taken into account when determining the amount of plunder an account earns. If a SH has enough equipment to hit me, they aren’t a small 3-4Mcs account. So they should not earn a ton of plunder, and likewise I should earn something reasonable when I successfully hit them. 2) Scaling Bonuses from Equips –Boo, Hiss, wave my staff in aggravation. Please don’t do this. Equipment is static by nature (unless % based) and a consistent reward for players who have earned powerful equipment. I think fixing the plunder payout will be better served than monkeying with variable BFE. 3) Plunder Differences Between Builds – yup, in line with fixing the plunder discrepancy based on exploitation of the power / # of men formulas. 4) Ally Bonus Cap – I like it, similar to not allowing changes to builds / equipment post matchup. Other general war suggestions: 1) Change the points available / payout / rewards structure to make it easier to earn rancor points. One option being to eliminate losing 1 point with each loss, so you keep your rancor levels once earned. Another option being to increase the points earned with each win in the initial weeks. a. Reason why: Assume you are in an amateur war clan with only a 50% prospect of winning (especially given the stacked clans out there). Right now, the net benefit of warring in the first 4 weeks is 0.50 points per war. (50% * 2 pts for winning) + (50% * -1 pt for losing). This goes negative if you only have < 30% chance of winning. There is a certain ‘incentive’ to just wait until the last 4 weeks when the points available are greater. b. Perhaps going to a 3pts weeks 1-4, 4pts weeks 5-6 and 5pts weeks 7-8 would be better. c. Maybe make rancor spell last 3 weeks instead of two for those who can’t consistently war. (In line with the can’t lose Rancor once earned theme). d. This would require the rancor tiers to be greater (lvl 5 at 75 pts or something) since it would be easier to earn rancor levels. But overall this should increase interest for the non-professional player. 2) Shorten the time between war signup and war start. Reduce to maybe 1.5 hours / 1 hour? Most clan have roster stats complete within 20 minutes, and briefings at 30 mins before war, so the first hour becomes somewhat of dead time. I realize there needs to be a cutoff of the clan’s current eb, and enough time to fully regen, but it just seems like a long time for signup & setup for only a 1 hour war. There has to be a way to condense this, and reduce the overall time commitment. 3) (This is a long shot I realize) What about an individual ‘I want to war’ button? Assuming you can war but your clan doesn’t want to, you exit your clan, push this button and automatically get placed on a team with complete strangers. High risk of course, but it would highly encourage war participation, reduce the ‘War 5?’ inquiries in WC and introduce new players, and reduce the workload for admins to coordinate wars to try an accommodate their members’ schedules. Final thought: I agree with others’ comments that S1 was the best season since the matchup algorithm was different, you could potentially get a mismatch and more ‘amateur’ clans were trying their hand at warring. Best season by far – anything we can do to re-use some of this matching algorithm would be great! Keep it radical. -Rad
We all know the main problem is the stacking. And It's just, to me it seems, instead of just implementing something that directly deals with stacking , they say ok we'll make sh pay more. Clans can still stack , but with this the sh will give out more plunder , which will hopefully lead to less stacking. Why possibly create another problem before dealing with the first problem? This has always been their answer to fixing war, adding another branch to the problem tree instead of hacking off the limb at the trunk.
Ok devs enough with the wait on fixing do it now so we can move forward. If you have it ready lets get on with it. The sooner it happens the sooner we can see where it goes
i think this will be fun n good for everybody small can hit big player. If BFE or tower become none static. Since no unit to carry u gear or no unit to defend u building. High BFE will always be advantage. But there should be a CS limit for each clan to stack up their player before matchup. This will solve da problem wit match up n this new update will make it interesting..atleast i hope.
I'm just getting my SH build going why? Because I wanted to win wars now I'm going to have to go tank probably so you need to do something decent about it
@ admin or com U think u could give us the option of doing ee style wars as system wars 1/2/4 hours we choice rosters no rewards ? I mean I love the mechs of ee and the amount of fun fair matches can be .. It's just the matching that's a issue and wat u need to fix to stop the gaming of the system I for one don't need rewards to do sw and would love to enjoy ee style wars we could make sure was a fair match ourselfs Bring some joy back to the game for those of us ready to quit U wouldn't have to put up with me in forums anymore )))
I also support bringing ee style wars to system wars. I would rather make rosters my self to insure a good even match
I agree that war times of 1 hour are detrimental to spy builds since the majority of their plunder comes from kos. Two hour wars work best.. with the option to ff after 1 hour.
Support for a SW EE style where you can choose rosters for fun, no rewards but friends or clans testing their strategies on each other. It would also be a training grounds. As for the proposed changes, I'm a bit on the fence about them. Scaling bfe now puts more emphasis on BFA, and BFA was already not calculated very well into the match algorithm. How would this new fix take into account BFA vs BFE now that BFE is scaled? Why not remove BFE as a factor? Anyone nowadays can get decent equipment. There isn't much difference between the event equips vs s1-4 rewards. Which means anyone can get equipment that is fairly similar in stats whether it's through EE or EB. Either that or account for the best equipment that the person has in each slot. Whether they choose to use that particular equip is up to them. No more dropping equipment for easier matches. Having a max in hiring bfa after lock makes it incredibly difficult to shop for while in the middle of EE. This was not a very well though out idea IMO. A concern for those outside of EE--- Would the BFE scaling be only for EE or for all of kaw? As it has big implications for EB'ers(mainly hansels) and those in OSW.
My little SH friend EE equipment is substantially better that EB equipment. Unless you are a lucky little fucker then good luck trying to get EB equipment to Max level.
