An Update on Wars

  2. We're still working on the fine details and will have more to announce when we're ready to launch these changes. Some things will target just EE Wars, and others are going to be an all around change.

    More details coming in the near future but basically you'll only be able to hire more allies during war if someone purchases/strips your existing ones. This is all based on stats, so if you have say a 20m ally bonus at the start, and someone strips 5m of allies away, you can then hire another 5m of allies to get back up to that initial 20m.

  4. Sounds ok however I an confused on equipment scaling. Are you suggesting moving away from static items back to percentage basis?

  8. Yeah please do not adjust static equipment mechanics. Too late and defeats the value of equipment paying customers have worked hard to achieve
     
  9. Season 1 was my favourite, why was those mechanics changed?
    Personally a u turn, bring back the old mechanism where hansels wernt ripped apart by a tiny SH.

  10. First scaling static Bfe? U mean that if a players has 130 mill att Bfe that at 100% troops he will have 130 mill bonus and at 50% troops he will have 65 mill bonus ? Something along those lines ? For clarity

    Second by plunder differentials between players how might that work ? That's something we as a community could actually help with

    Third this looks like u have most things covered save 2

    1) no equip on certain builds (and how will that effect ur new changes)

    2) builds that go in with lack of a type of building (ie pure spies) they bring down matching for their big counter parts at the same time cannot leak gold in essentially a plunder driven war while still being able to produce plunder themselfs thru ko's ,steals, and other ways that they are not subject to

  13. Bfe is hardly what helps accounts be strong with low troops so scaling it will just make people weaker on the offensive at low levels towers and bfa are what make people strong defensively with low troops no support to this scaling bfe stuff

  15. Reason to war is to geth Mith equipment or mith for osw. Changes still won't fix lb +sh stack and I still see Mids not warring.This is to stop the complaints to look like they are doing something and stop the Building changes thread from growing.
     
  16. I highly disagree with scaling bfe. We war for the bfe. Why weaken it?
     
  17. Only reason I mention it is if ur going to try to fix it might as well fix it not something that can be further taken advantage of

    Also ur explain action of the bfa cap sounds really hairy instead of just capping bfa effect in war ur limiting hire amounts that part I get but now if ur a target while in ee u have to stop warring and figure out exactly how much bfa and wat price range u can buy back from ? All while in a 1 hour war? And no way to protect ur gold while doing so? This seems like a way to make it better to war with little or no allies anyone with any real bfa will never agree to take part in that kinda war it's too risky
     
  18. @bishop if it's not factored in they'd basically be saying only the ones who have been doing ee can continue to do so. New guys. Alts. Average players that just havent had time would and do get screwed over because its not
     
  19. Scaling Bfe should have been done from the start no Bfe should have ever been static it should have always been percentage based that's a non issue to all those complaining it's part of wat screwed up all the mechanics in kaw to begin with
