An Update on Wars

  1. If devs make equipment non static I'll be done with ee wars. Come on devs take out clan hopping let's get back to s1 wars. They were soooo much fun!!!!
     
  2. Are u stupid? Look at how many gh/sh actually war with equip.. It's about 99% that use 1 piece of equipment only. Bfa needs capping to a set amount as it's the main flaw of wars. if your the best swordsman in the world and you get challenged by a man and you only let him use a spoon are u the best warrior? Either 150 or 200 max each slot when waring to make wars fair or at least give the underdogs a chance to hit them when there low. All you needed to do was cap bfa and make a over and under certain cs wars. All sh and smalls war eachother and all bigs and mids war eachother not this 2 lb 2 bigs rest sh crap (leaving 50 % of the game out as there mids)having basically 2mini wars in each war... Your going nowhere with these changes I'd advise actually doing a war or 2 to have a better insight and stop this guessing game that's got u nowhere so far
     
  3. I'm thinking less 50 -100 mill each slot enough to make them tough but not over bearing and still encourage growth among all others in the field of bfa

    Ee is a tournament not real war all tournaments have handicaps or restrictions of some type ee should be no different

  5. Yep they don't wear equip so this helps sh really again, mids don't have that static equip to hold up, so this will be in effect out side if war? So strips will be a hell if allot easier once your zero'd your equipment doesn't do much for you, you have no bfa holding you because of strip am I seeing something wrong here? Yes I know it effects the attacker too but not much for all 60 bars
     
  6. What if instead of working on bfe, you work on hit ranges? Can't hit someone you're dtw to even with full equip
     
  7. Look forget scaling bfe. Bfe is earned by people winning wars. You guys stop argueing and get back on point. The biggest problem with ee is LOYALTY!!! If loss of an ee level is re- installed into wars there will be A lot less stacked rosters. START THERE DEVS!
     
  8. Thanks for listening developers. Ally manipulation was my biggest complaint. Explain Bfe scaling please. Is it your intent to use this as a percentage of overall troop/spy strength?
     
  9. All this is blowback. The biggest problem with ee is the plunder differential. Fix it, n many of these other issues vanish. There will be no need to stack once tiny accts have their bfa n bfe figured into what they pay. Single most important aspect devs, do it, n freeze bfa bonus at lock. Buy n sell as usual, but lock bonus for ee. These two alone will greatly enhance war for all blds

  12. I've been saying this since before season 3.
    #1 Way to fix both mismatches and sh stacking is to fix the plunder/matching formulae to include true strength. That means bfa, bfe, and build. Ignoring any one of these opens the doors to exploit. You don't need to change any of this other nonsense if you fix the system so that plunder is scaled appropriately based on TRUE strength of attacker vs TRUE strength of the defender. An LB player should not be able to make the same amount of money from hitting someone my size as they do from hitting someone their own size. On that same token its completely fair that i make crap money attacking an sh and they make good money attacking me if lucky enough to succeed. But if u have an sh with crazy bfe and bfa that is as strong as ur average 12m cs hansel, i should plunder on them like they're a 12m cs hansel. If you look at top 100 LB their buildings account for less than half of their strength. So why is it that they make 90% of the plunder hitting me as they do hitting each other?

  14. Burns, they did change the plunder formula once like u purposed but there was huge backlash and they changed it back quickly
     
  15. Burns I'm not saying you don't have a point, but understand that these problems we are facing now started AFTER the stopped taking away levels of ee for leaving your clan. The biggest problem is being able to tryew exploits at any given time because any clan can stack as long as you know the right people. Plain and simple. As long as the devs allow people to leave clans at any given time new exploits will be explored until one is found and it won't take long to do it.
     
  16. ^ Which is why a minimum attack value balancing and excluding any potential exploit is the simplest and easiest change the devs could implement.
    You cannot out roster a minimum attack value as long as all in war have to have one attack troop building.
     
  17. Forcing winning clans to stay in clan doesnt help to be honest. Most winning clans already war with their own people and avoid mercs whenever possible. All this will.do is lower participation in wars
     
  18. Sorry of im asian but you are saying bfa and bfe are rqual yet you are not treating them the same and then saying the result will be equal. If you do that in maths you will always be wrong.if bfa is locked etc then u need to do that to bfa to stop all these exploits. If you are saying but stripping is supposed to be in wars then why would anyone ee. You face a clan with unlimited banks and u get stripped. Well worth it for 14 mith u might get in war and use it on useless eq which is abt as useful to u as a million hunts
     
  19. Adding my inflation debased two cents back into the discussion again.

    1. Rid the system of ps by requiring that in order to cast woc that a kingdom has at least 1 soldier and 1 spy building.

    2. Plunder should be based on the higher of your pay or what the defender would earn had they attacked/stolen you. This will encourage growth of kingdoms. From my limited testing, I found that plunder drops off steeply once the defender's cs is half or less that of the attacker.

    After a quick read of some replies I think scouting mechanics need to be clarified. Some people think scout bomb is not a problem but I beg to differ. For hansels it's likely the single most problematic mechanical issue. Without being able to use sdp to defend makes it impossible for the scouted kingdom to successfully defend.

    The math on scouting is as follows: sap ~3.2M, cs, BFE diferential 1M cs ( I realize this may change but bear with me and use the current rules), + the big one is that scouting is an "easy" action. You can scout with 50/50 chance of success up to 2M less spy cs. Add this all up and you need 6M sdt to be able to ward of 50% of scouts. This translates into 2 crappy 104k spy attack builds able to zero a traditional hansel via scout bomb.

    Changing rules to use sdp for scout defense DURING EE ONLY, while not a panacea, would certainly give hansels a boost (this especially if they take my #1 suggestion and completely nerf ps)
     
  20. No build should be punished. You tore down a huge att to go sh,good for you. You built a pure spy,good for you. You are 36mcs att again good for you. Change the mechanics to allow these to plunder each other or not. At no point in my opinion. Should LB att get matched against sh. So if bfa cap will fix it,do it.
