Americas Last Days

  1. There is stupid, and then there is OP

  2. America is built on the genocide of one people and the enslavmsnt of another, but that's ok because other people at the time were doing it? By that logic there was no British tyranny as you mentioned earlier in your post, because it was in the era of empires and anything the British done other people also done.

  3. 1. History is written by the winners, seeing as we won twice against the Great Britain, we get to write it. Your argument is invalid.

    Otherwise I completely agree with 2 and 3 :)

  4. When was the secon win?

  5. Only idiots accept the version of history written by the victors, it's a phrase for those disinterested in the truth and too lazy to find out.

  6. Referring to Ebola much?

  7. Not sure if winning includes having your capital burnt down after you've picked a fight with your neighbours but sure war of 1812 was won by the USA.

  8. My opinion is that America is in decline, but that the decline is unavoidable. ALL nations are born, rise to prominence and then fall away. Rome would be a good example.

Do I think America will be wiped out? No. Not really, but, as time goes on, it will become the land of the mediocre.

The future is this. Eventually there will be fewer nations and larger governments. The EU is the start of this.

Nationalism is so yesterday. The future will be nations working together more and pooling resources.

  9. EU is a terrible example for the future lol

  10. I think too many underestimate Russian far too easily, this is one war we MUST avoid. Also the relationship between Russia and China is to be considered, for even NATO has said at one point that their combined forces could practically walk forward and take Europe with ease, likelihood of that event happening is so very small but shows the force and power they have.
We should never underestimate any potential enemy, look at how much it has cost us fighting these most recent "wars"... Imagine the cost if they were actually organised and trained and had vast numbers.. China alone had around 7million people ready trained soldiers Russia around 3million+ and.many are.trained during school age on firearms etc... We need to leave them be as the cost in worse case scenario is too much for the rewards in my opinion.

I personally think let's try to worry about ourselves and leave the rest to the other guys to sort out.

  11. Yes this I do agree with this. Ideally in a ideal world id love to see no borders no class system complete equality, complete freedom ( obviously not entitling anyone hurt another etc)... Reality we are greedy :( we always want more than the next guy

  12. I think boarders will always exist, but as nations pool their resources, nations will become more like states with out a strong federal govt.

  13. The UN will be congress soon enough!

(Or Parliment for those that would argue it.)

  14. Kim Jong-Un for Emperor of the world 2k16.

  15. USA is not "1 million in debt per capita".

    17 trillion/300 million = about 56,000 per person.

  16. American Dream is not alive.

Americans make a median wage less than that of many other highly-developed countries.

American children do not get a sufficient education in comparison to other countries, or compared to what they could be doing.

Children who do well in school and want to pursue a post-secondary education have to deal with ridiculously high tuition and living costs, which leads to very high amount of debt. Furthermore, minimum wage is so low that a summer job can barely scrape away at the debt.

Immigrants to America who are not Christian, or are some other sort of minority, are going to face discrimination by radical Christian groups. Their children are also more likely going to get bullied in school for being different.

  17. What I was thinking

  18. Compassion is the reason why humans are so successful. People work together and form communities.

Humans can talk - they teach each other things. Knowledge gets passed down from generation to generation and accumulates. We developed bigger brains to remember more information and to find out better ways to survive.

Today's society could not survive without compassion. If people lacked compassion for one another, the world would be thrown into chaos. It's the reason why hospitals, police stations, fire departments and I the emergency services exist. It's because we have the capacity to care for people, even if they aren't immediate family or friends.

  19. I had a good message typed then my service dropped. Not worth retyping

  20. Long story short v the topic of the decline of America was derailed due to that idiots babbling of irrelevant things in the past. You could talk trash about any countries past and call them evil
