Ally Trading

  1. I've spoken to Mango. They were very helpful.

  2. Their is multiple mango's?

  3. Nope. Just one. The one who made the thread

  4. There are, actually, but that is beside the point. The points that have been said by my more experienced trader friends are true, and will simply be echoed here.

The market is going to crash. Inevitable.

Avoid guild hansels above 100b, you will not get a sale unless you happen to know for an absolute fact that you will get a rehire. In which case expect hire hits.

Strongly recommend identifying ranges where allies are converting between tiers. Strong correlation between the start of this process and slow growth.

  5. Is it good to stay away from players switching between tiers?

  6. Depends. Some players participating in EE want allies that sell slower so they dont get sales during wars. They may find talkative allies that they want to hold onto for longer to build BFA and need to reduce the need to search more frequently.

If you want fast sales, however, I would suggest avoiding them.

  7. Im a guild hansel over 100bil and I plan to grow lol.Im just GH to get lands unlocked then save up and convert.

  8. Exactly the point. Considering the cost of lands and buildings before you actually make a significant increase in stats to return you to an underpriced state is several hundred billion. Not an easily achievable thing.

  9. You are right Mango.Ive got 13 HL left, then a few IL,and LL conversion is at least 300b plus extra for allies.

  10. Ok LastThought, but as an ally trader, all I see of you is your stats, your achievements and your actual activity.

I have no chance to tell if you ever will grow past the 1,5m cs of a hlbc gh or not. And even if I knew that you'd switch to a higher stats build later on, I know it will take at least 2 months for this to happen. I certainly would prefer a player building T3/T4 in his first highlands with 2m cs for those 100b as it might sell in the next 10 days...

  11. I'm super overpriced imo but my owner always hires back :)

  12. I completley see your point Kassio.I was surprised when I kept getting bought after I reached the usual 90b hire price.

Personally I go for 11b price ranges just because I make 20+ bil a day.

  13. Just to give some perspective. The last 13 highlands took me well over 3 months with constant trading and a good influx of gold. Then you add on your IL's and other upgrades. Guild hansels are not worth it over 100b. Case closed.

  14. And no, I don't see the ally market coming to a crash, but to a standstill... There won't be a devaluation of your allies. If you were clever enough to buy active allies, you will be easily able to sell them again once the cash will flow back into the ally market instead of T6. All you need is patience...

These times are an opportunity for clever ally traders...

  15. By your allies not selling though, it is the equivalent of them being worthless because no one else wants them enough to hire them.

That is what I meant by a crash. Sorry, noob here.

  16. Haha Mango, I get your point. I was indeed more accustomed to the term crash by playing the stock market where I managed to lose a decent sum a dozen years ago...

A real crash could be a situation where most people were dropping their allies and totally flooding the market with it, while you would be sitting forever on your now totally overpriced allies.

A fun factor in the ally market are those double haunting days during which you suddenly see half of your allies upgrading...

  17. Hire slam 
    Spells active 5cs
    Come n take a look only 240bil 

May as well post this since I don't see any other point here

  18. Personally,I cant seem to get a good grasp of it to save my life.

But like Kassio said,if you have patience and banked in good allies, once people have a decent IL build going, you should see an insane influx of gold through your allies.

  19. @swift. When you say "get into ally trading soon" I hope that you mean in 2 months from now. It may be a bit shorter or longer depending on when t6 lv2 and lv3 is released.

Hiring allies before the market bottoms out would be unwise. Any ally hired now you may be stuck with for 6 months.

Be patient. I'll let you know when it's almost time to start. Might even give you some pointers if you and I are still playing kaw at that time
