  1. And delerium has a program which roughly calculates good allies - which is what u wanted todo? His actualy includes stats ad the curve of prices as players go higher

  2. Well that's toraly cool for you guys.. I guess I'll stick with what works for me.

  6. Wow HAV0C that's intense man...
Must of taken you ages to make lol.
Bit to confusing for me though lol.
    Thanks man!

  7. Hav0c I get it now, since you clarified the important point - that these are the prices of people that have never been dropped. It's a good starting point for identifying good ally "veins". I forget who used that word to describe it, how you can find certain price points where good value allies are readily available.

I think this is a start, but you should go into more detail about how to use these numbers, how to apply this to actual ally shopping. What to look at or look for, that sorta stuff.

  8. You can just use the rundown function in excel and move then extend it

  9. Ya earlier someone said something about putting stats on there so they know what to by.

Big problem with that is those allies might be good now but tomorrow they wont be. In the price range of 311M and 586M I've noticed this was a good range and it has been shifted over by about 100M.

I've also noticed there use to be allies with attack stats of 70K in the range of 1001M and 1217M and now it's rare to find these kinds of stats at that range. You will find this range is dominated by 50K stat people.

The whole market is inflating. It's due to the fact that the rate of people LCBC is much greater than the rate of people joining and staying to play KaW. If there were more people joining and staying this inflation wouldn't happen. But oh well 

  10. Inflation is a constant for a healthy market economy - any fundamental study of economics will teach that. The trick to navigating any market lies in understanding the inflationary factors and incorporating them into your purchasing strategy. When I started seriously shopping allies you could get 100k attack stats for 1b. I modified my purchase criteria over time as that price point trended toward 100k total stats for 1b. 1b was, for a very long time, a key market index for me which I leveraged to determine competetive stats for a whole range of prices. I have shifted now (primarily bc I have much more money to work with) to using the high end of the market as my key index with 2b as my base. I determine marketable prices based on where stats fall within that range.

This does not require a spreadsheet to do. Instead it's a matter of leafing through page after page of market data (ally search) for the high & low indices to identify trends (rare vs common stat totals) to shop against.

I'm still trying to figure out how a spreadsheet would help rather than just taking more time & requiring more work.

  11. I APPRECIATE your time and effort Hav0c! This is a great starting guide for people that buy ally en-mass. Once in the "vein" who to buy would be up to the buyer. Buyer beware.

  12. I still dont get how it helps. If an ally has good stats, u hire him. Just because hes been dropped doesnt mean he has bad stats now. And maybe now hes dropped enuf hes got good stats. Ally can be any price 1 to 5 trillion depending on his stats and his price thats what determines whether u shoyld hire him

  13. I have used no-drop price points for buying allies for a couple of months and it is awesome. It's a great income source as if I buy top stat allies in that price point it's a safe bet they'll be bought out in less than 30 min and then I just by another at the same price point and make a nice profit.

If I want to keep the ally I just volley it 5-7 times to take it to overpriced. Usually that ally is active so upgrades and I get that stat bonus. But when that gets bought away I go back to the original buy price and start over.

I've got all my price points on a sheet I keep handy. It's good stuff

  14. @Raeki stick with what works for you.

This is giving people who don't know nothing about the market a starting place.

  15. I've never been dropped so I must be a great price right?

  16. Dont forget project allies. Shop for an ally in the 50k range and if u find one with amazing stats 3k or so its nearly guaranteed to be active. Keep buying him back and wall him w tips to keep him growing. Usually u can get a good ally on ibstallment payments and keep ur stash for buying back ur bigger allies

  17. Btw i know 3k isnt amazing but at the 50k price range it is

  18. nyn your a trophy..

I believe it was TZ that first used the term for people LCBC with extremely high prices. Like everyone on the price LB are trophies 

  19. I got 4 trophies  2 trophy-trophy 1 legend and another good friend who got grounded -.- but he was an oldie and a famous player too

  20. It is funny how this game brings in the amatuer economists ( some may even be pros). The ally market gives me the same type of buzz that stock trading can, with no commissions or risk. The ally market is like any other market. Once you learn to buy and sell anything at a profit it is a skill u retain. Thanks for the thread havoc. Hope you come home someday
