How are stories unique if they're using characters belonging to others? That's not unique in exact terms, it's just altering someone else's story.
@CheeseMuffin: Its harder to write out of a topic i prefer a topic Ex: Romance , Adventure ect. The concept of doing that is so that you dont go crazy on your writting and keep consistant writting tech. The basis of your TOPIC is to help you write on something you enjoy. Freely writting your story you can sometimes end up with Writters Block or Mental Block .
Allow me to explain. By topic, I mean a SPECIFIC topic. You can't just write Sci-Fi or Romance or Fantasy. You HAVE to write about a TV show, or a book, or a manga, and you HAVE to keep it somehow relevant to the topic you're writing about... Say I wanted to write about.... Sci-Fi I can't. I HAVE to write about Transformers, or Portal, or some other SPECIFIC thing. THAT is why I hate FanFic
Dolly u act like everyone is doing it. In any case probably only one or two stories are like that. And any story is unique, even if we use character sign ups.(We're amateurs anyway) The process of writing it, creating the details is unique. Just because is says fan fiction doesn't mean we have to write fan fiction. I don't even know why the devs named it fan fiction. They should've just made it fiction or stories or something. In the beginning they FF section didn't even exist. Stories were posted in OT or OGD and that's how it had been for a long time. I can't say why and how FF section was started because I had gone inactive at that time but I don't care what this section is called because stories in KaW started out as creative and new stories and they still are now. And just before you say I don't know what I'm talking about I should tell you that I joined in September 2009 and was here when the first story was posted in KaW.

Wait, if I posted parts of Kingdoms at War Chronicles that were explicit before you said ur gonna delete the story, can they stay?
Somehow I doubt that the Devs are going to delete the stories unless they have explicit sexual references in them. If they really want to see inappropriate threads that need to be deleted they should stop by OT sometime. They're not hard to find
I don't really care. It's all the same to me. One story. Another story. Just a different author or genre. Yawn.
