Idk if anyone stated religion kills anyone. Ppl of various religions have used religion n its ppls as pawns to gain their ends. Fanatical sects of various religions kill ppl. The few do not represent the majority n its too convenient for others to paint them all with the same brush. How often r fanatical sects denounced by their religious leaders? Not often enough let alone open transparency on where they stand to distance themselves of the conflicts. Either declare support or no support for the actions of those fanatics.

Pff, obviously anyone defending human rights is against radicals. I never said i supported them if that is what you are implying. Nevertheless i did take the time to read the thread and found people discussing whereas religions are the same or not, if religions are an excuse to harm and kill or not. Religious radicals aren't necessarily moved by a person. They are moved by ideas. Can you denounce them to ideas? Well, no.
We talk of radicals but with committed religious ppl there is an admitted distain towards other faiths. The Muslim public have to dislike Jews and vs versa. You can deny if you like. The distance between the Abrahams seems only because they have not read each others books. Today with religious propaganda picking verses and interpreting them to assert their bigoted view. Whole societies and countries support terrorism but in a soft manner. Resentment in north America grows as a tradition Christian Society is being undermined by "politically correct " changes. The Holiday Tree in New York City 75 years of being a Christmas Tree. This breaking down of norms creates the "let's nuke em" boys. I try to remind them it was once a Yule tree and forbidden for Christians to have. Change is good to bring people closer to a new norm. I've been called a devil worshiper by both Christian and Muslim. I had to remind them both that this fallen angel is their invention and never existed with us. The recent Pope finally admitted he does not exist. He just represents the metaphorical darkness in all of us. But obviously the Pope did not speak for all Abrahams. The Devil in us seems alive and well and being preached daily by all.
I won't bore you with details but for some the Sabbath Day is a Saturday not a Sunday. Yes. The Bible is made up from 2 Testaments. The New Testament is a New covenant. The New covenant frees all that believe in Jesus from the strict observations of the 7 commandments and in its place has put all that you do under scrutiny but in a way to make the individual a better person. Religion is answerable for much in this world. Faith that is based upon a personal relationship is more pure.
Despite how sickening these statistics are - I believe this was fully necessary. The UK is a great country depending on your colour, and your religion. I am British myself and can honestly say it is in my opinion one of the most formidable countries in the world for racial discrimination and quarrels in religious groups - however big or small. I think it is good that the synagogues have increased their security, but with that said I also believe that this should have been done a long time ago by the government. Despite the fact they are reluctant to involve themselves in religious debates unless it spins out of control into a riot(or something of the sort)and has to be dealt with. It's very sad to think they had to ever do this in the first place; but Britain is a very dangerous country for those who openly say and do the 'wrong' things. This needed to happen.
