Settle down, start a family. Every day will be a new challenge, guaranteed. It won't matter where you are.
Knowing Moody as well as any post-apocalyptic role player can know another, I would suggest Siberia. This is for several reasons. 1. You love stimulating political discussion. You'll find plenty of that among the political exiles and dissenters in Siberia! 2. Siberia means "sleeping land" and if there is one thing you love, it's tapping the old snooze button 3. Permafrost? Or natures own embalming fluid? A real animal lover, you will find all critters here at the perfect temperature - forever. If that isn't enough for you, I give you reason 4. Nuclear tourism. As a fellow FCer, you lost post-nuclear sites as much as me. Become a friendly local guide in Chernobyl. Health plan, smealth plan. Thank me once you get there Moody!
Lots of Canada and Australia and dabbling of USofA too - all good choices and places I am interested in. The issue with the states is getting a visa as I believe there is no shortage of my profession out there which makes it harder so I hear. Canada and Australia; I like the idea of Canada that despite it being famous for being cold, it actually does have seasons and I like getting my arms and legs out in summer and messing around with snow in winter - rare things in the UK... Australia is perfectly viable, as is New Zealand but it's very very far so would need a job lined up before I left otherwise it's a heck of a trip to just run out of money and be forced to the UK again! Siberia... I have no words daph but you do paint a picture of a place worth at least visiting!
I would say Canada,as I left the land of brummie yrs ago and now live in Canada. There's opportunity here but getting started isn't what it was when I moved here. But with the right attitude and work ethic you can make yourself a good life.Just stay away from Ontario it's getting to be rediculous with the cost of most basic necessities.
...how long do you plan on living in your new locale? You gonna work? Or just be hanging out? Are finances a problem for you? How much disposable income will you have?
If you need/gonna work DO NOT go to Canada ...wages are crap, doesn't sound like you'll be there perm. so why pay all those taxes you'll never see any benefit from? From my experience everyday people don't have much disposable income there ...unless you're into nature is kinda boring (imo)
Look of your looking for OPPURTUNITY come to the U.S. ...I swear you can get rich here with little effort. It's ridiculous. iPhone
You can apply online to Aus/NZ for positions there are many ex UK working here. It's really very welcome here. Living is normally on par or cheaper and there's less politics of course. Your degree and achievements will get you in no problem. Residency is achievable within 12 months if you get on the right track.
Ex-UK? so once you leave England (and surrounding areas), you are no longer considered a "UK". /Lol Edit:Australia is great for a holiday, to live for a long period of time... Not so much. If you want stability, good internet connection, perhaps an exciting way of life... Maybe America or the home of the maple leafs and "sorries". I'm horrible.
Tennessee is a beautiful state in the United States. A lot of country area and quiet places. A lot of civil war history all in all to me a great place to be
Oh and ultimately most of us are ex prisoners of mother England also we all pretend like we were not...
