A Noobs Guide to Ally Volleying for Profit

  1. By using the ally market. It'll take a while but its worth it as all you need is less then 1m to start.

  2. Don't act cool OP I was proving your point to someone else.
But you sure know a lot about the game for someone so small.
    Care to post your main?

  3. You were? My apologies.
I don't have a main. I even out my play time on all my accounts. My oldest account is -deathlord- but I've stopped using it for the most part. :)

  4. +1. You don't have to go to 800, but if u can it makes more $... Stop volleying them anywhere below that and you're still making $. Repeat until you don't have that $ problem anymore.

  5. Drop them? Lol

  6. Point taken; stop volleying them instead lol.
    Thanks!

  7. OP, you obviously haven't understood what allies are for. They are not meant to "make quick and easy profits," but more of a long-term investment that will give you a steady income via ally plunder bonus in EBs and wars as well as additional stats via BFA.

Unfortunately, your way of thinking is already too common all over KAW, the main reason for ally market inflation, and one of the reasons why the decreasing number of new players give up more often than they used to. New players already cannot buy and keep allies any more. When we started out three years ago, there were always plenty of allies at any price between 10k and 1bil. You practically never got the message "Nobody available to hire. Try searching for players at different costs." There was a slim chance to get it at 10k, but very rarely; even at 12k, there were always several hundred allies available for hire.

You, OP, have a single ally for 4bil which may or may not be sufficient for max plunder bonus at your size. If players slightly richer and bigger than you employ your "strategy," there soon won't be any 4bil allies left either; they'll all be volleyed up to their own limit, for example 10bil or more. And as the same behavior happens throughout the ranks of KAW, the ally market is getting worse every day. This effect already happened in GAW and FC, two other games from ATA they eventually had to shut down because of their low player bases.

A guide should be written with new players in mind and allow them to enjoy a certain success in game. You wouldn't like it either if you had to wait for days to find a single ally you could afford and preferably even keep, would you? Especially as your strategy is based on impatience and instant gratification. So yes, this is truly a Noob's "guide," not very well thought out.

  8. Hm point taken and I certaintly agree with most of what you are saying. This is already starting to happen actually. But another part of the reason that there are less new allies is because KaW isnt as popular anymore.

  9. I've heard the argument "stop volleying new players " to solve the ally market problem, but to me personally people that say that sound like idiots. You need a volley to get going. If you didn't volley then it would take 10 times longer to grow.

Of course I do understand that when people say this they generally mean don't volley them to like 10b from the get go. But I'd say a 1b volley is at least the standard.
