There is 1000s of religion you failed to mention. Gnostic were peaceful and killed by christians. Monks pretty peaceful also. Anyhow just saying waiting for you to cover all the other religions then I'll take your logic more serious
Isn't it funny how Jesus died and was resurrected in the same way that Horus of Egypt was in 6000bc. Religion really is the greatest story ever told. It keeps popping back up and people swallow it whole. "Tell a person that there's an invisible being in the sky watching you, everyone believes you. Tell a person that the paint is wet they have to touch it to be certain." Of the thousands of gods worshipped around the world. Aren't you super lucky to have been raised to believe in the 'right one'?
It all boils down to Jesus Christ the supposed Don of god being an ordinary man who was a cultist and had a massive following.I'm pretty sure you can't convert religions when your dead but hey what do I know, I'm just a person who looks at the facts.
Jesus gave the Apostles the Great Commission. He directly told Peter to shepherd His flock. Christ did not start a religion. Christ expanded His kingdom.
So when you say "rapists, murderers, etc should be treated harshly", you are just talking about how you personally will handle them if you come across them? If that's true it's kinda pointless, because how many will you have the opportunity to come across. If however you are speaking of how you believe the larger community should handle them, I would say you have no right. Who are you to oppress someone else's personal moral beliefs. If they believe killing and **** and terror is ok, then why would you not advocate for their right to follow their personal morals. I think people too often spout this kind of logic-less nonsense without thinking of its impact on society. You might not agree with some of the things people have done in the name of religion, but the framework is necessary if for no other reason than to maintain order.
Well put. Religion is a key element in history and like one another they keep repeating themselves and the truth gets warped.
The burden of proof is on those who believe he is real. Harry Potter is real because he is in a book. Prove to me that he is not.
I don't need to prove God is real because I already believe it and couldn't care less if this guy did. This guy, however, presents his opinions as fact and wants to ban religion. So the burden of proof is on him.
I believe that people who have committed heinous acts. (I view pedophilia **** murder and terrorism heinous) should suffer the consequences through a country or states laws.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4C5pq7W5yRM This fulfills the burden of proof regarding the existence of a God. Who that God is I will leave open to interpretation, but, I challenge you to review that link and tell me why you reject the idea of a god in this universe
Cynder zeitgeist isnt the truth either just another spin on what someone believed. Awsome to watch and extremely interesting with well thought out arguements. But trust me when I say easier to find the truth within not on net . You also said people believe anything seems you believed a program you watched also with no real investigation following it
Counter challenge, if the universe is real, who/what created that, and what created the thing that created the thing that created the universe?
