Renewed: OAF build(no spies) are immune to steals if they have zero gold out. They can be attacked until pin no matter if they have gold or not. Pretty much the opposite of OSF in every way.

There are many different types of builds out in KaW, all with their own specific builds, but since there have been multiple threads asking about different builds recently, I decided to pull together a guide using my knowledge along with some others that I will mention at the end.
Basic Builds:
Attack:

***Note***
If you decide to go balanced buildings in attacks, make sure to note that you get two extra hits per unload. So instead of 24 hits, you get 26. But it does take an extra 5 minutes to regen, so instead of just the regular hour its an hour and 5 minutes.

Attack Builds:
Attack builds are commonly a lot of attack, balanced, or defense buildings placed on the lands of your kingdoms. Usually little to no spy stats, these guys rely on strength to get what they want in-game, whether that be hit virtual monsters or smash their enemies.

Strengths

Powerful hits (easier to drop the ebs health or pin an enemy)

Lots of gold on first few hits

3 more choices of build types (more attack then defense or balanced, or defensive)

Can hit Hybrids and Hansels easily

Weaknesses

Gold drops fast when unloading full bar

Weak spy defense; easier to be hit and pinned by hansels and spy-heavy hybrids.

Hansel Builds:
Hansel builds are commonly builds that have 1 attack building (I prefer a balanced attack building but you can choose any of the three) and the rest guilds. Having small attack stats, these guys rely on spies (assassinations, steals, and scouts) to get gold off those epics or decimate the opponent.

Strengths

Being able to make up to 17 mil per hit by the time you finish lowlands as a hansel

Able to pin an enemy and not give away a link

Easier to grow as a small account

Weaknesses

Can be pinned by 2-3 accounts scout bombing said hansel

Not as powerful hits, might need to stock up on mith and pots

Hybrid
Hybrids are a mix of attack and spy stats. Can be exact same stats, attack heavy or spy heavy, they are able to be hit by both attack builds and hansels. Usually have to have both defense pots and spy defense pots.

Strengths

Can use both attacks and assassinations/steals/scouts to hurt an opponent

Can help out clan with eb easier

Weaknesses

Can be hit by both attack builds and hansels

Doesn’t (always) have big stats

***Not recommended for small stat, new players. Should start with Guild Hansels then convert***

OSF/Spy Build
Spy Builds used to be very big back in the beginning of the game, and during Pwars era. They would stock up on gold, then open up to WC. Clans would have their own personal OSF’s (Our Secret Farms or Open Spy Farms) who would be hit by members of the clan. Some clans would have OSF’s on a schedule, where you could hit this OSF for a couple hours, then they’d switch to the next. Spy Builds usually have either a stable up or no attack buildings at all, relying fully on assassinations, steals, and ally trading.

OAF’s
OAF’s are Open Attack Farms. People like hansels would steal from them to get gold. They (like
