  1. If I'm open, you'll die,
    If I'm broken, you'll cry.
    I thump at the bars,
    As I'm trapped in a cage,
    Yet you'll never care,
    Until you reach old age.

    What am I?

    Apologies if this riddle is worded wrong and/or is too hard/too easy, I wrote it myself, since I'm often bored
