Asof and lotl are top tier ebs. To get into top 10k players, or around upper half of kaw community, you'd need around 70m cs (based on one of my alts).
It's really pointless to rationalize with players who think they should be the priority of every update. :roll: "the interest of the majority versus the interest of a specific group" What can you say about this, ATA_Charlie?
The increase in silver bars received for 2k items is higher than that for 15k items. This would reduce the gap between smalls/mids and the bigs. Furthermore, upgrades are more efficient cost-wise for smalls/mids. Increase in silver bar rewards should cover the decrease in plunder due to buffing of the early levels of buildings in Osman Rai. If you are unsatisfied with the plunder loss, you can always choose to save gold and upgrade Osman Rai buildings until they pass the threshold for loss of plunder instead of having a level 1 building. If you are affected by the change and have no gold to upgrade immediately, you can always wait 2 weeks for event rewards to finance the upgrading of your low leveled Osman Rai buildings before whining about the loss of plunder.
Plunder This is one of the hardest issues to address. On one side it is good to encourage growth. On the other side stats and size show dedication to the game. Increase plunder too much people hit lower tier ebs (think HTE payouts without the real costs). The rich continue to get richer and the gaps continue to widen. Some possible solutions 1) Dev enforced "suggested" stat ranges for Ebs hitting within your range you earn 100% of current payouts. Hitting below your range you earn 90% LESS than current payouts. Hitting "above" your range is a 250% payout. Example Haunting suggested stat range 7-12m first hit payout is 150m "normal" Player A 5m CS earns 150*2.5= 375m first hit Played B 11m CS earns 150m First hit player C 22m CD earns 15m first hit. Problematic since you are incentives to hit larger Ebs. Does prevent larger accounts from making fast/easy money soloing ebs. Still flood the markets with gold. Does achieve faster growth. 2) a fixed increase in plunder across the board. Either universal like 100% or have it as an unlock with lands. More lands = higher bonus % this is more of the same rich get richer and gaps continue to grow. 3) reduce prices on previous generation lands and buildings. Personally I think like this LL -T4 reduced down by 90% of current cost HL reduced by 70% current cost HF reduced by 50% of current cost Abyss reduced by 30% current cost. Current tier 100% of normal costs. This encourages growth, removes gold from the game as those with it are able to BC faster at a great cost. New players don't get discouraged when after a full two week event they have earned enough gold and SB for 1 maybe 2 upgrades. By discounting lands and buildings there is no need to change the plunder values. events Events favor you hitting the largest EB in the right "order" for the different components. Again more of the same large accounts earn more faster and keep getting max rewards for more gold. I would suggest treating event drops to reward activity. Attack =1 item Scout =.5 item Steal =2.5 item Asn= .75 item This applies across the board. Like the prima event for Aqua/inferno you trade the items in yo "build" the tokens you need. EBs still drop different tokens like the current system. Players are no longer forced to hunt different Ebs for items or alternate if they do not want to(though probably still in their best interest). This would allow the more active players to earn more tokens. The scores could work for PVP for EE or OSW players, since they can cash them in for the different components needed to build the item for The event. In this scenario EB event pay outs should probably see a reduction between 30-60% depending on the EB. Goal to reward active players, regardless of size. That is it for now if I have more thoughts post coffee I will add them. Edits Let keys for event drops last 2-3 days after the event ends to unlock chests/boxes. In Smash after an event ends players have 3-6days to finish spending all of the event "currency" on the rewards. Allow the same here. Most of the boxes give Crux chests.
Most complain Spy build has more plunder drop, yeah i agree with that.. I am a spy build, we get attack by all builds. Even hansel half our size can attack us. So devs if u r planning to drop our eb payout, i suggest u make pvp rewards less for person whobare able to attack us.. Plunder u get for attacks should bd based on attack buildings the opponent have (except ps). Then i guess i will be happy if u drop hansel's eb plunder. Its fair trade...
It's really good to see the devs trying to do something new in kaw and that they are interacting with us.... And im glad the devs r trying to make this game better... I HAVE SEEN A THREAD where ALL THE IDEAS AND FEATURE REQUESTS have been collected maybe u guys can look into it??? Also i would like people to be less negetive.. because it is granted there will be mistakes or unintended results while making changes.. But raging about it is not cool or smart. I have seen the last post by ATA_Charlie and it was not pretty. We should give constructive feedbacks to help change not demoralize people
The whole 1 attack is one item shouldn't be implemented. Yes currently the gap between what builds earn is too much however large builds should get better drops and drops should differ between ebs.
This hasn't quite been fixed yet has it? I'm still experiencing issues with my alt? Any idea when we can expect it to all be sorted and back to normal? Thanks
Just going to make this short...thx for taking more time to get involved with the Kawmunity Changes should be focused on; increasing low tier rewards, to help decrease the monumental gap that currently exists; increasing rewards for attks to reflect a better balance between hansels & attks; reducing inflation; creating better social stability through long term clan member bonuses; better balanced event drops to support a larger variety of clans...i would also much prefer a event system which reflects activity over size more appropriately, the "1 unload, max drop" idea has to go.
I want a massive increase to PvP plunder. I want event drops to be based on the eb difficulty, stats size and weighted actions. I want you to remove event badges because goodness they're annoying to scroll through and offer no real bragging rights. I want you to add more moderators because world chat is filthy. I want a comprehensive KaW map/story because all of these events and mythologies of arkosa and the old loading screen goddess are beyond confusing. I want more quests. I want new players to get more than 1 million gold when they're hired. I seriously want a massive increase to PvP plunder like seriously. I want real life equip like that iron gauntlet y'all sent Wulf. I want realistic clan roles?! I shouldn't be able to grant another player a power that I don't have (chargehand's have the ability to kick and a commander doesn't?). I want a change to the silencing system. I want mithril name colors to show in ally chat. I want PC to have regenerating speakers. I want private messages to show up at the top of my friends list on PC. I want you to renovate the forums since you're using phpBB. I want quite a few things but I'll leave these ones here for now.
2000 items os the average goal people attain with each of their 50 illegal alts....upping to sb drop to 2k will only promote illegal account behavior.
To solve the issue without increasing general inflation (that money that bc'ers keep stacking so that they instantly bc next time lands are introduced), without using a money sink, without causing civil unrest is impossible... No one will ever be happy. TIME TO BE RUTHLESS, CHARLIE. Time to tickle the armpit of the privileged KaWmunity. Regardless of plunder drop/redistribution of wealth,fairness,blah blah blah,..etc.etc..how in the hell is someone less than half my cs or time on kaw above me in our clan roster now? What gives with that? I know,just to make it fair to everybody,let's just make our clan rosters alphabetical now. At least that way I'm used to being near the back of the pack in that fashion!?! :-(
the drops from last event were unbelievable upsetting. if we hv those drops again i again cant reach 15k or even 10k items in the end.
