@ oligarch and stratergy. And anyone else wondering. The point of making it action based is not to stop those that spend leading events. If you read my post you will see I predict exactly the spending scenario with xtals and that is a plus for the developers. What an action based event does is mean that every single player no matter game play style will be able to enter the event. Whether they be in an osw or ee war or eb or a solitary farmer. EVERYONE is by default entered and as such able to with their style of gameplay enter the race for prizes at various tiers. No player will be excluded. What this means is that an osw clan memebers max xtalling and spending huge can win the event as easily as someone doing b2b escapes. A tsg eb player max xtalling may win or whatever Obviously I would expect devs as they do now to target tier levels to require a high level of actions for top prizes. But at least doing this which is the point includes every player and gives every player the chance to gain from each and every hunt. Including every player opens doors to more profit for ata whilst allowing everyone else the chance to continue in their own clan without having to hop or go to a dedicated b2b clan, they can stay at home and loyal with friends. They can earn whatever prize level they decide to shoot for and plan how many actions and how much time that will take, as well as investment if needed of real money. Now if that is not me understanding what I am asking for? I don't know what is. So please keep the whining comments to yourselves and think and read carefully before posting next time.
Makes sense nightwing. My bad. I was bashing all whiners that made no sense. I guess this could technically allow even pvp players to win if they do decide to max xtal. I actually like this now. Dont think it will be implemented though. Alot less people will be dropping seals. Devs would be losing too much profit.
If seals equated double actions and xtals a static amount I doubt that they would lose a single cent. More likely to boost profit than Detract. Those pushing hard as they do now would still spend big. Others who don't now on this system would be encouraged to use that extra xtal in a strip or farming or pinning an enemy in osw. Those in normal ebs would be free to xtal more knowing they gain a static reward plus the extra actions. No one can complain ( yeah right I know ) if devs make the goals sensible and the equipment desirable.
@Nightwing If it was action based.. I can't see how that would be any different in terms of being P2P. You'll have the same people saying it's an event only for those that are willing to pay, because not everyone can afford to max xtal on ebs or even buy xtals at all for that matter. How is your system fair to the little guy that can't afford xtals, seals or horns, or the little clan that hasn't yet reached a high enough epic battle tier to make it worth their while? Maybe I missed that somewhere..
As always nightwing devs wont do case of our opinions...its useless to complain about some themes,over all equips...the best armor of this event should be in CS about 120M to be an especial equip that all community fight for it...but in place of that devs only put his stats about 75M CS.About actions i think that so all bigs and smalls players could have the same oportunities,but they wont do...Other thing that i think is that events would be more interesting if re

Infero. Does the current system reward those doing large ebs 7 hour ebs vs doing silly little ebs chasing drops at end of eb often random or osw players or farmers.. Where does it reward clan loyalty? Where does it encourage teamwork. Basing it on actions promotes all those aspects. And where do I state that the intention is to stop pay to play. Devs will have zero interest in that. What in this system hurts the smalls? Being forced to chase poor paying ebs preventing growth. Or being forced to pay to play. With an action based system. The fact they are rewarded by how many actions they do at the same rate as "every" other player. How is it wrong giving everyone equal opportunity. Or should small players be given additional rewards because they are new? They already have free xtals from quests giving them an advantage over those who must pay for new xtals. Does the current lb consist of b2b escape or rotwb players. Or those who pay to ee ? Yes pay to play players will always have a huge advantage in the current events. They get the added bonus of higher rate drops of eggs plus they get to maintain growth. That's the way it is. From ata's perspective it's about promoting sales. From the communities point of view it needs to include every player. Pay to play will always have an a lead. That's what they pay for. Moving on to actions giving rewards for every player for their actions on any eb or pvp action thus meaning the small players or any others don't have to sacrifice their growth for these hunts. They get to hit the biggest ebs / players they can without having to chase end of eb bonuses. The amount of ebs won't matter. It's just purely the amount of hits a player does. Big or small everyone stands the same chance. The biggest issue will be setting the activity levels required for the average gamer to get a decent reward whilst the most dedicated get rarer and slightly more desirable equipment. Which they essentially pay for or don't sleep for. Same as the last hunt different tier rewards offer differing equipment and its then truly open to the all to decide what level they can and will aim for. Actions reward activity and effort and what a player invests into the game. Or we can stick with the current clan wrecking system that encourages nothing but pay to play or zero growth resentment and frustration at the exclusion of so many game players style of play excluding people from the hunts. Leaving only the most hardcore spenders in b2b hte clans getting the best deal while everyone else loses out in one form or another.
