Yup I believe I responded to one of your messages about this, and we are looking into that as I type this. No timeline for when this may be done but it is something we want to make happen.

  2. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

Lol, just sent a feedback message asking for that.
    Thanks devs.

    Thank you very kindly kaw-admin.

  4. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

I would like to say that, while not perfect, KaW has been consistently been working to improve the war system. As one of the old players on the block I have seen some good changes over the years ... And some I don't like as much. It is nice that our voices are heard and that is what keeps addicts like me around ... That and the insane people who play this game and make it awesome 

  5. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

Kaw_admin, admin capabilities were not fixed for round two. At least not for team HoA. We managed to kick one or two players before kick button disappeared again.

But I do agree with not giving rewards to badge hunters. It is their responsibility not to set their team up for a fail but many simply didn't care. Too bad they even had a chance of getting in ASW but next time if they even qualify, they would think twice before wasting every ones time.

As of alts in ASW, I can't believe u can't track all accounts to one ip. It's known devs can see the alts of certain player. I'm really tired of evidence free accusations towards my team of barcode #40 being our alt. I'm asking u to track this accounts alts and match it up with our roster. Please announce the results too. I don't appreciate being called a cheater when I played fair..

    Thank u

  6. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

Actually oh mighty kaw_admin god, you have it wrong again. My message has nothing to do with possibly missing out on a reward for that event you incorrectly called an All Star War. I don't kiss butt and won't start now. I couldn't care less if I get anything. In fact, you can keep it. I'd rather not be affiliated with it anymore than I have been.

  7. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

Never said we can't track accounts based on IP. What we're saying is that based on the information that we do have, we have removed as many alts as we can. The ones that are being called out right now, according to our system, are not alts.

Will look into HoA's kick issues, but they should all have been fixed from hour 4 of round 2 onwards.

  8. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

    Thank you!!

Now read people, barcode was NOT AN ALT! I think from now on it will be more than legit to ban players making wrongful accusations, in accordance with ToU.

No point to look at admin abilities issue now, not like we'll get a rematch but it was really frustrating not being able to kick a leaks that hasn't been active in both wars:(

  9. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

I don't remember kaw_admin trying so hard to listen and respond to as many of us as possible. I appreciate the fact that u listen to our concerns and will be working on our suggestions. Thank you, game now is far from perfect but we all can try to insure to make it better now

  10. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

I posted an idea earlier and would like to put it out there again with a little more detail...

Dueling Matches... A one on one means of determining who
    a) has the knowledge and ability to fight and
    b) who has the fire in the belly to war

Unlike current battlelist or hitting an alt, duels would be matched (based on stats) by the system and be for a set length of time (an hour or two) and at the end of the duel, the player would get points towards qualifying for next ASW. A player in a duel would not be able to be active in an eB nor be able to be attacked by any other player aside from the duel opponent.

The point count would be reset each year so that the player HAS to be active during the year, not just sit on past laurels.

Would be good to not have someone battle the same player within a specified length of time ... 48 hours at least

If a player chooses to opt out of the dueling system then that player would not qualify for the next ASW. This would give everybody no matter what their stats a shot at qualifiying and give those who genuinely love the game enough to understand how it works a means of proving it.

We ALL know that the leaderboard means little these days. Many accounts were purchased from whoever built them up to begin with and the person in the drivers seat now doesnt have a clue.

The top ??? players would be invited to participate in the ASW. If they do not reply within specified time frame, invites go out to the next players in line.

Dueling would also have the added benefit of allowing players to have some real interaction. And unlike clan wars you have to make it on your own. So would be a true all star war

  11. Does that mean that excluded players really do get the 'Pillow Badge'?
    thanks you DEVS!!!!!! ;)

  12. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

I have mentioned this in a few post but we really need to look at the leader board in general. We have people sitting in it that have 10 of thousands wins. Many with over 100k wins and only a small hand full of losses which translates to EB warrior. Not only that, many don't even carry a full pot load and even more with only a few hundred. These guys should not get the privilege to get over all ranked. I think we should have a serious discussion on what makes a person qualify for over all leader board and then set up the algorithm to calculate correctly. If we don't address this then each year we are going to get this type of ASW.

  13. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

    @TheLady
1 V 1 wars were brought up and discussed in another thread a few months ago, similar to what you suggested, I can't remember who the OP was though.

  14. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

    1. I believe dev DO care feedback from us.
    2. I don't believe that all mods in same clan were picked ramdonly.(BUT HoD won the war not because of mods)...:)

  15. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

@panic I am sure that would be a huge task for the devs. Maybe it's too big a task ... did the devs have anything to say in the earlier thread? I think duel system would answer a lot of the issues that we all have now and would be worth the effort

  16. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

And I prolly missed that thread because I had my head up an eBs ****  trying to get my stats up so I could be in the ASW 

  17. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

@ thelady. I just added it up. I have a total of 127,055 successful actions (won) and 39,196 (Losses). Add it all up and I have 166,251 total actions. I have played daily since 8/31/2010 ish which translates to 220 actions every day since I started kaw. I'm sitting on roughly 600 thousand pots (various types). I have 12 EB items which many have been enchanted. I'm 5 lands from hcbc T4 style. I have roughly 100b in allies. Guess where I'm ranked??? ...... Wait for it........ I'm not. Didn't even break 10k over all.

This is not to complain, however to point out overall leader board is broken. We fix this to include people like myself that actually war and you will help fix ASW. I'm not saying its the total solution however there will be a better pick of players to choose from

  18. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

@ BringMeWar  Really? That's just messed up.

  19. The problem with using successful actions for basing the awards in the asw2012 is that most of the players that were ranked say 50 and below were told to keep pinned, and to attack members of the same team that were not that active/sleeping/eating/or taking a little break, in order to "plug" the leaks and reduce lose of money so to speak. As a result, even though these players appear "inactive", they really were, just in another capacity that does not show up in the war stats.

  20. Re: 2012 All Star War - Results

@bringmewar-buy a 500b Allie, Allie bonus will get you on the lb much faster then upgrades or battles.

ATM I'm at 122k battle wins 5lands till hlbc and 600b Allie I'm ranked 6600 on lb.
