Nicely done Devs on following through with the in-active list looking forward to more improvements implemented in the ASW and system wars as a whole. As admin of DEATH I wasent yet asked by developers if anyone was trying to leave but couldn't. Also as admin of death at the 4 hr mark i couldn't kick this guy as a real life thing came up. I have screen shots to prove this conversation took place but im not sure if his reason would be considered personal information. Among all the things developers did that botched this war for all of us i think this posting is the worse. You stated you would be contacting admins for advice but never contacted us. Extremely low point in kaw when after all the **** you mess up yet again. This person shouldn't be looked at like the way you betray him as he was on, acted responsible to try and leave clan but couldn't (your mistake) he than asked me to kick as soon as I could(Admins had no power to kick players again your fault) than you post this list without consulting admins in the clans as you said you would(in case u cant tell your fault) Devs its getting harder and harder to forgive you for these types of mistakes try and be more carefull in the future Im curently trying to contact naz to get the ok to post the ss and remove him from the list. Let it be known I'm happy you are trying to do something to make up for the "problems" in the asw but creating more problems for innocent players I'm not ok with. Wow so many inactives on our side no wonder we lost finals. Great job to everyone else from Harbingers of War. We all fought long and hard to get there and congrats to Doom you managed our inactives better than we did. Plus members in my clan from Doom said y'all had a great plan for managing your own goon in from the start. Well fought to all
@Jigsaw: didn't know others were also affected as per previous post by me on this same thread. At least not given a hefty 18b penalty (even so, at time of removal, the lead was 13-14b, but I bet Dev can show me they are correct while my newsfeed and plunder update definietly lag by an hour - amount deducted an hour after removal while they tried to find some penalty for us after "threatening" auto forfeit) Again, Dev should at least recognise who are those trying to cooperate and make the game better for all. Why would I help otherwise when I am supposed to rest in between wars or analyse next opposition roster? Why communicate with us "when you are trying to make the game better" but stop when you fail? Again, you guys could delay the war. Or simply remove plunder made by those extra on roster. Instead you guys removed THE WHOLE LEAD? So if we were losing then how? Yes, you can reply on next bugs found, example my scouts not showing buildings etc. But what about how the issue was handled? Zip? Oh wait: locked threads/deleted threads. Post YOUR way of how resolved that seems "fair" for YOUR screwing up. And then avoid any further communication. Thats a way to say: Hey, thanks for your time trying to help us but we failed. We're just gonna make ourselves like you cheated and what we did was right plus take your whole lead so others dont complain. You guys might as well wait till end war and remove whole lead and rematch? That would have made sense right? Or how about if my clan was losing you guys wiped opposition lead totally saying our extra guys were leaks instead (they could have been). Sometimes I have to question if you've lost your brains from all the nobs/xtals players buy.

On a sidenote: I'd like to thanks Bellemorte and Wulf (and others involved) who were trying to help and resolve the issue. (but no, whether as a mod or player, it doesn't change the fact that whether it was a system glitch, admins fault, or whoever: dev were unable to handle the matter - they slept more than some of us on KAW's big birthday event!) Thanks again for trying to make it better for everyone though
I’m going to add my piece. I was in Harbingers Of Doom, the clan that eventually won. There has been a lot of emotion on various topics associated with the ASW, which I stayed out of, but I feel obliged to vent a little here. The first war started AM my time on Saturday – not great as I have kids who play sport and stuff so it was difficult. I still managed to get close to 150 actions from memory despite not having sat down once that day, and was very active in cc. And we won which was great. I had cancelled all other activities for that afternoon and night and next day, so that in the next 2 wars I could be even more dedicated. Having done all that, Murphy’s Law played a hand and I suffered 7 hr or so wifi outage! Yes **** happens over which there is no control! I was very disappointed and when I got wifi back I found I had been kicked from the clan L. That was disappointing to say the least – and no PMs or attempts to pin me. But I guess the absolute necessity to win won out, and I can live with that. Note that I stayed up for the 24 hrs or so when ASW started and eventually went to bed when wifi did not come back. What I really struggle with is that I now I see my name on an inactives list in forums for the second war. Guess what, there was **** all I could do about it, and yes the power failure ruined my weekend. I am disappointyed I could not lend my clan mates a hand later in subsequent wars. I am not a newb, and our clan wars regularly and have had fun in OSWs before. I have friends in many of the bigger clans, and those that prefer OSW to system wars. There are probably many inactives or partly actives on the list that genuinely underestimated the effort required and the expectations of other more experienced players. So be it. They will learn and either sign up or not next time knowing better. It’s up to clans to manage at the time in any case. @kaw_admin Is BCW_FeelThePain being added to the list? He even made an apology thread for being completely inactive. I just want to make sure this is fair, if others that were deemed inactive are getting no rewards, I think someone who we know for sure was inactive and even admitted publicly in the forum to such, should be on that list.

Ok I'm a newb using ampersand I find that this approach of blaming inactives and trying to strip them of any recognition after the fact is bloody minded and rather black and white in terms of understanding real issues. For myself to be listed on an inactives list based on running an algorithm across stats without any other criteria I find offensive. I know that there is a mechanism to appeal via admins, but you would like to think that would be done as an action prior to issuing such a list, not after !!!
@divinelu you must have missed what my post was about. Developers have posted a list of players a hit list so to speak, without confirming with admins like they stated they would in the first place. Theirs way to many things that went wrong in the ASW. More than we could probably count but by far this list without consulting admins is the worst. @Muppet Why do you find it strange that you were listed as inactive, when you yourself just admitted to being inactive?
I can't help but wonder, why did we have over 20 inactives on ca each round (same players) and I only see Cardinal (twice!) and princess (twice!!)? By looking at the list, It seems we only had 2 inactives? That is incorrect kaw_admin, we had over 20 people inactive for the full duration of both wars. Not speaking of those who showed up 1-2hrs before wars were over..Very confusing but still thank you for this work you've done. Thank you Kimmie-TS, it was a pleasure to be on the team u were leading! True pleasure to fight along side with many in HoASee u on battlefield
We said that admins can vouch for the players, and if so, we may remove them from the list. We never said that we would consult the admins first. Please read the original post. This was a list of inactive players, plain and simple. We never said that they were bad people, simply that they signed up for an event and did not participate in it. If they were kicked by admins, then we trust the judgement of the admins (that is why they are admins in the first place) to determine that. If they did not participate, they did not deserve any rewards. If you feel that there is a player on this list that should not be, that they participated fully for the war, then read the original post to see how you can get them removed.
The devs seem to have been pretty conservative with this list. I cannot see how the list is very much off. Even a guy with 5 actions to his credit and massive 29M like the ever sleepy and much contrite BCW_FeelThePain (and he is trust me) was left out of it. Problem with those who post here on how this is unfair is that there are consequences to this type of action. This is a war game, people worked very hard to get in top 5,000 this year for a shot at ASW to war. People who screw this up should expect some retaliation. In war if you don't show up to fight or run away you end up in front of a firing squad. You can apologize and you still get executed. Egg on your face is the minimum for screwing up this for the rest of us. If you were put in by mistake I'm sure people will understand. However, I agree that this is farming list by any other name...... that could be tough.... I wonder if Pure Evil has checked this out....
