    @Rio

    What about the lag? Sean had the plunder calculated on several factors ( or did anyway he keeps changing the thread around every 2 seconds) one of which was you make less on a build that is relatively inactive. That seems tricky to me.

    Equipment stats are too unbalanced and 100 days seems a bit long

    To me, the only PvP "event" that works is OSW. OSW works because people don't need all these gimme gimme special trinkets. Those are the true warriors. Pvp'ers who whine about not getting special trinkets are weak.


    Look at the history, sean. Every time the devs tried to organize pvp it ends up getting exploited because they fail to address and solve one simple concern: "what's there to stop me from simply farming my big osf?"

    In 2010, we had system clan wars. What happened to those? Became pwars where everyone hit osf.

    In 2014 we introduced Pvp events. And what happens? They also became pwars where the winners all basically hit osf and stole oafs.

    Make it as complicated as you want, but this problem can only be solved in the EE format which is vastly superior to anything proposed here.

    I changed the thread when I see an opinion by a player voiced out in the thread, should be worth adding to the event! It's called listening to the player's ideas and recommendations!

    For the osf and oaf part thing, unless the Developers decided to do something about it I'm afraid I'll have to disagree with your opinion. While the mechanics remain as of today, it is of the player's choice to become oafs or osfs for every other player to hit them for the drops!

    Oafs and osfs can be a vital part of this event, since collecting thousands of
    War Gold Repositories will take a long time, even for players who xtals regularly and keeps hitting from pin! Without them, I highly doubt that many players will be able to collect as much as 7,000 or even 5,000 War Gold Repositories!

    If a player opens himself as a farm for many to attack, and you see it as a problem just close him! Now there you can have a new mission of making the event more fun with craziness as if you close open farm targets the players will have to end up hitting other targets instead and there you can provide as an extra obstacle to these players! Raise the bar for them!

    Anyway, your feedback has just made me thought of something which should not be done and it is related to the oaf and osw farming! If you would like to know you can follow me and I will explain it to you, for if I write it here in this thread I can be violating the TOU!

    It was definitely meant to be this strong! The stronger the equipment, the more pvp work players has to do for it! In fact, I believe the prices shown on the 1st page of the thread for each eq should be insanely hard for many to grab it!

    Dear everyone,

    After some thoughts I would still email support about this idea, but it would be a bad timing to have this event initiated too early (if this idea works and is bound to happen) as some of you may have been tired from the constant 5-time Farmer's Journey eb event as well as Season 5 combined. It would become a heavy backlash!

    I think it would be best for this event to be initiated if there is a long break AFTER the last event. I would recommend this 100-day PvP event to take place maybe somewhere in next year of 2016. Just not this year while there are so much events coming on this year! Give the players break!

    I will patch up with support and Kaw_com tomorrow regarding this idea, and will let them know that they can save this as an idea too!

    Last update, there will be no opt-out button! But there may be an opt-in spell! Thanks all!

    This thread can go down the AT now, but if you wish to keep it active so be it!

    The lag is quite possibly there because the bfa is checked after the dtw/dts mech.

    Yes I don't really know if that's possible, it could work of the drops were based on the opponents rage metre level I suppose.

  10. Here's a phenomenal idea that has been suggested before to eliminate the entire OSF thing.

    Hits only directly from Battle List can generate war gold.

    It won't 100% eliminate OSFs but you'll have to be lucky enough to get one on Battle List to find him.

    Also since Battle List won't just be opted in players but rather all of KaW this would minimize chances of finding one also.

  12. One problem, if the BL is all of kaw and not opted in players only, that's a HUGE amount of players that might not be opted in. Massive waste of time trawling through to find one
     
  13. I thought it wasn't an opt in event. Isn't that the entire point of this?
     
  14. Also rid of the mith spells. There are tons of people who PvP but don't EE. That or expand the amount of mith we can buy to be equal to the Max spell available in event. No reason to give EE players another advantage. They claim they spend more on the game but it's a lie and a farce. I guarantee more money daily is put into xtals for strips or HTE then for 15vs15s of guy who might use 1 xtal depending on how close the war is and with possibility of getting refunded that used xtal.

    Yeah, any mith spells should be castable by anyone. Maybe the spells could cost war gold?

  18. We need some sharks in game? Awesome. Here's my recommendation. Don't make them am EB. Hell, let's not even make them something currently part of the game. Lets make sharks something random and epic.

    Sharks will be this,

    At random times at random points in the day the update not will say

    "**Update** DUN. DUN. DUN DUN!"

    When this happens for the next 2-5 minutes EVERY PLAYER in WC ends up in a random "body of water". Next time you see Update Bot in this time he becomes "UPDATE SHARK" and randomly takes 5-15% of gold of 1 player who ends in that "body of water" at that time. I.e.

    **UPDATE SHARK** Takes a BITE out of TheRealDMC's Kingdom! Avenge him World Chat!

    Now EVERYONE else in WC has 30seconds to PnZ UPDATE SHARK. If they do, whoever was involved with PnZing Update Shark splits the gold that was taken by him. The ONLY people who can ATTACK or SPY on Update Shark are THOSE who were in the WC "body of water" and at risk of being biten by UPDATE SHARK also.

    Random Risk / Reward along with a chance to lose a ton of gold (depending) or gain a ton of gold (depending)!

    3)hit the first name you see
    4)await noobish response/posts
    5)continue engagement or move to next and repeat
