Hey does it make a big difference to switch t4 lvl2 to lvl3 ? Cuz in plunder don't think it's I big difference or I'm wrong?

Smit, your last hit goes down allot. Lvl 2 to lvl 3 gives almost double the stats and better plunder. Never keep un maxed level.

My question is:
I am hansel, I have 33 lands open (including castle) with a lvl2 CoE and 31 lvl3 guilds. After upgrading my circle, where do I go from there?

Really wish I'd seen this guide earlier...

Murray, I'd say open another 3 lands with 3 more guilds, then I'd work on a 30-40b ally and then build 6 SOS

Very nice guide Vandalise, I was coming to the same conclusions myself with my hansel. Do u think it could be better to do all highlands with guilds first and then save up to go SOS all in 1 go?

Silk the first few SOS don't have much adverse side effects on yout plunder. It seems the the point between about 6 and 25 stays stale. After that it goes back up

Note: when I say T4 hansel I mean having 1 T4 attack building e.g a Titan, foundry or circle, and the rest SOS (stronghold of the shadow)

So, you want to be a hansel but scared because everyone says the plunder of a SOS sucks. But here's the quickest way to do it, and probably the fastest way.
SOS have been made out that it will make your plunder drop MASSIVELY. yep that's true if you do it like you did with guilds. When building SOS there is a different technique to stop the SOS from drastically effecting your plunder.

first off  ____________________________
Since there already many guides on becoming a hansel, there's no need to say it all again (if you need information on becoming a T3 hansel I suggest looking through some of the many guides already out there in the strategy section). So let's just say you have 23 lvl 4 guilds and 1 lvl 3 aviary with at least 7.5b in allies and you have just discovered the highlands. This is the point where people would swap there guilds for T4 buildings, and people who want to be T4 hansel start to swap guilds to SOS. NEVER do this  keep your lowlands as they are, you want to unlock 4 of the highlands and put more lvl 4 guilds on then so you will end up with 27 max guilds and 1 max aviary. Here are the prices for the first 4 highlands:
Number.1 = 3b
Number.2 = 3.5B
Number.3 = 4b
Number.3 = 4.5b

Next  _____________________________
so now that you have the 4 highlands with guilds built on them you want to swap that war aviary or the 1 attack building you have to T4. WARNING NEVER swap your T3 for a T4 lvl 1!  you want to save 11.1b to instantly put it straight to level 2, I'd suggest building a circle of elements as it provides 2 extra hits. Once you have done that save 15b and up it to lvl 3. Never leave it at lvl 2.

Thirdly  ______________________________
Now, the next bit is a bit time consuming but trust me, soon you sill be making the same amount and mostly likely more per unload than someone 4x your stats. You want to unlock 9 more highlands, and once again build more guilds on them, so overall you will have 13 highlands. Here is the list of these prices:
Number.5 = 9b
Number.6 = 11b
Number.7 = 13b
Number.8 = 15b
Number.9 = 17b
Number.10 = 20b
Number.11 = 25b
Number.12 = 30b
Number.13 = 40b

Big incomes ____________________
WAAAT! you are now making some serious cash per unload and getting way over 12m a steal! At this point I'd suggest doing it my way, although it drops your plunder by probably around 1.5m it's worth it for the stats. Remember! As a hansel every time you attack you only loose about 30k per hit which is tiny! What you want to do is save 28b (which you will earn VERY quickly with the amour of guilds you have) and swap 1 of your guilds for a level 3 SOS straight away. Repeat this until your have 6 maxed SOS. (always upgrade to level 3 straight away). Be careful, anymore than 6 SOS will drastically hurt your plunder, and I mean hurt. With these 6 SOS 1 CoE and rest guilds (all should be max level) the SOS will decrease your plunder by around 1.5m per hit but give you a really nice stat increase, the guilds are giving you some nice cash along with that attack building 
SHOW ME DE MONEH!  oh yeh and don't forget to steal of an oaf!!!!

The biggen  ____________________________
here's where the really annoying bit comes in. It will seem long at first but trust me, once it's done your stats will be sky high  Since you now have a total of 37 lands, building another SOS will hurt your plunder remember? Which I really really really x2819 don't suggest doing. What you want to do is save your money in allies. SOS is very complex .... I can't explain it but it's just complex!  for the plunder of SOS to jump back up you need to have at least 2/3 of all your buildings SOS. Now.... 2 thirds of 37 is around 29.... Since you already have those 6 SOS (that Atm don't affect your plunder that much) it leaves you with 23. Now.... The cost of a SOS is just under 28b... So 28b x 23 = 644b :/ yep... You have to save 644b in allies  trust me it's the quickest way, you'll be surprised by how quickly you will get it in the end. Your stats are small but you hit big. Saving this much in allies will make you be able to swap 2/3 of your buildings too SOS in one big conversion. Pluss when they sell you will make a profit  which should give you an extra 50b or so on top. I tend to bank when I have at least 30b, as allies in this range are usually active and growing hansels. !!!make sure they are active and WILL sell!!! Then if 3 of my 30b allies sell I might buy a big 90b ally, and when he sells use the Profit on an even bigger ally. (i don't save my money in pots as the loss is huge when you want to save big amounts).
FINALLY! After some serious hard work you have 644b worth of allies and they sold! Now swap as many guilds as you can to lvl 3 SOS 

the final step_______________________
now that 2/3 of your buildings are SOS, you can now save 28b and start swapping the rest of your guilds to SOS. Make sure you max them STRAIGHT AWAY. now it's simple. Either hit as normal and buy the rest of the highlands, put max SOS on them and repeat till bc OR... Sell that T4 building (leave the land blank just incase) and go osf for a few pwars, use the cash to buy the rest of the highlands with and get you the rest of the SOS,
-then build back the T4 to be a normal hitter and T4 hansel.
-build a SOS on the blank land and continue an osf or pure spy.

It's your choice 

 well that's it. Thanks to the forumers (can't remember who) who took part in the discussion on the guild / SOS plunder thingys.. Can't remember thread name  this is currently the best way, expecting that your an average player who doesn't have OSF's or a clan to give you war tax.
