FoD is Figure of Death, currently the most difficult epic battle. A CoE is a Circle of Elements, the T4 (fourth tier) balanced building.

Unless you're on a computer, you have to type out the code by hand. To quote, type this:

[ quote="player that you're quoting"]this is what they said[/quote]

Don't have any spaces inside the brackets. I only did that to show you how to do it. What I typed above, without the space, would appear as this:
