Not really tbh. They can still be stolen and assassinated, they're just easier targets. Plus it means you can't steal which doesn't help for stripping in osw and you can hit spy bars in ebs.
Pure attack builds can be stolen from forever as long as they have gold out. And they can be assassinated down to 20% troops. It's arguably the most worthless build in this game. It's even less useful than a pure spy because at least a pure spy can kill troops, whereas a pure attack build can't touch spies.
OK, I suppose Zig is correct. If you need an OAF, pure attack is the way to go. But it's just so risky not having spy buildings and impossibly difficult to grow, especially without PWARS.
A pwar is a plunder war. These were in the early years of KaW just after the clan system was introduced. The two clans that were in the first pwar still exist (iG and Foxes) it's just a plunder war. Which people exploited with osf and oafs to make maximum money in little time.
In a Pwar, Side A would hit side B. side B would have OSFs (pure spies). These OSFs would regulate how much gold they have out so they don't lose to much. A little before the war ends, side A would forfeit the war and side B would get a massive end bonus, giving them more money than they lost. It was a win/win for all players involved.
If you want to see what a Pwar is like, you can download Future Combat: Patriots at War. It's another game that ATA created, and Pwars are still going there.
What Zorkay described is actually a reverse plunder war. Just being technical. A plunder war is the same without the forfeiting.
You can argue the technicality if you wish but the ads were descriptively stated as rpw's or reverse plunder wars. Any clan that ran a PWar was more popular than a clan that ran a RPwar because the payout at the end was a really nice bonus to the attacking side. Good luck keeping OSFs funded without the occasional RPWar
Does tsg pay better in general than rpw? Keep in mind, the biggest accounts were only ll bc till hl came out. That means mp was lower. Can't gather data on that since I didn't think to do that back when rpw still existed.
I would say yes. A large hansel can pay 70-80 mil and take a good chunk out of that for war tax. Plus the end bonus of the system is paid in mith (I believe , haven't done them in a while) which is a very minuscule amount. TSG can pay 50-60 mil for larger accounts which leads to equal plunder amounts, plus the eb contains an end bonus that pays in gold. You also have to count for spies. 0 spies in a PWar and all spies in an eb. You do the math there lol
In the guides section there's a guide to buildings and land. In that it does tell you what the resell price is(yes it's always at a loss unless there's a glitch/bug)
