They do nothing. People say they drop plunder but really they just dont increase it. Replacing an existing building with a tower will decrease your plunder but because the tower has no troops/spies to plunder with.
@Mango - if you are already stronger than the eb (I.e. overpowering it and riding the plunder curve) then spy towers or def towers CAN reduce both plunder AND allies bonus.
But they do not have a direct effect on your plunder by increasing or decreasing it. That also only applies to small eb's, generally from BR and below.
Yes it's an indirect effect. But it applies as well to larger EBs for players at or near half HLBC stats and greater. A level 3 Spy Defense Fortress will reduce overall gold by about 400k for such builds. A lvl3 Changeling drops it somewhere around 600-800k. Again depends on stats and where you are on that downturn in the plunder curve
I wonder if u double cast spells during 60minute countdown before an ee war, will those spent mith be added to ur winning? The question is, the mith spent double casting is added to reward or not?
Many purchase require high mith and if i have less than 20 mith before war i could buy alot n cast spells so payout would be biggwr since i can purchase beyond 6. I just want to know if recast counts because if thats the case i can reach my daily limit
You dont actually get more back. You think you do, but really you would just get back what you spent for winning plus whatever you earned through your actions in the war.
Question is, if recast of a spell is added to the mithspent part of the mithreward formula. I am just reaching for high mith
Even if it is added, you wont increase your mith profits at all by winning. You just increase the risk if you lose without changing your gains.

If it is no more profitable then why does it matter whether it is or isnt? If all you want is high totals then it makes no difference. You would be no more able to buy the bigger spells than you were before.
I don't know the exact value, but the Crown from TGL is 292 amulets and 243 bars, so I'd guess around there, if not higher.
