The colossal alien motership silently glided through space, surprisingly fast for being the size of three Earths. Soaring through the empty void, the massive thing slowly released pods. Each pod headed in a different direction, an each pod split into five. Six thousand years ago, the Zorgon empire had been defeated. Six thousand years after that defeat, revenge was in order. -------------------------—------------------------ "God damnit, I can't get any signal!" Logan was freaking out over the escape vessel's radio. Despite the beating he'd taken from a single punch (he was NOT a weakling, that was a freak punch) and despite the fact that he'd gone through the trouble of dragging the corpse out to the disposal chute and dumping it into space, he was okay, and now his only concern was finding other human life. ------------------------—------------------------- Only a few thousand miles away, the computers at the Crysis Science Facility were showing readings off the charts. Proffesor Joseph Crysis, who'd been waiting for such an event, was trying to copy down alll the information, but the computers were already overloaded. All at once, the main supercomputer, the energy scanner, and every other fancy gadget inthe place shattered, completely overloaded with power and information. The only thing that was still working was his radio, which was emmiting some sound. He heard: "Help, please! Anyone out there, if you can hear me, this is Logan Ryerson, asking for help. We've been stranding in space for about a week...*static* Alien... *static* and the radio died. -----------------------—------------------------- On the same planet, roughly two hundred miles away, a lonely hiker was going up a mountain. He'd heard tales of rare creatures atop the peak, and he wanted proof. Finally, panting and sweating, he stood up to see he was at the top, standing infront of a cave with a bear sleeping in it. The bear awoke, and strode twoarsa him. Suddenly, two feet away from him, it stopped. It begain shaking, and it changed. It's fur became longer and shaggier, covering it's entire body, and it grew taller. The head was growing a massive pair of tusks, which seemed to be... Metal? Same with the claws. After the bear-monster thing had finised changing, the man, too afraid to move, simply stared. Behind the creature, he thought he saw a huge man, with a boars face and hairy body holding a hammer. That was the last he ever saw. "Attack, my minion!" What happened then was too violent for the common mind to understand. It ended with the bear thing turning back to normal, running away, and the big man-boar-creature walking over to the dead body. Horren would eat well tonight.
Десятая лясть (part 10)-(I think) Invasion ---------------------------—---------------------- Pandora was a really nice place. It was peaceful, and it looked nice. Half the planet was covered with lush green forests, the other half was a majestic blue ocean. Both parts had their own individual beauty, but Horren only cared about the food. Being exiled because of the damned scientist Rosenburg, who'd foolishly decided to mix boar blood with a Hercules source (obviously meant for superior strength) The combination had been injected into his arm three years before, and now the monster known as Horren, half man, half boar, wandered the forest, trying to find acceptance, and food. ------------------------—------------------------ A weak radio signal finally appeared after hours of waiting. Logan almost smashed his head into the wall when the pod's radio went off. "We hear you! A rescue team is already on it's way." "Thank god..." And then Logan saw three small objects impact Pandora. -------------------------—------------------------ The carrier landed squarely in the center of a clearing, with just enough space to open properly. The huge half-sphere expanded just a little, and four doors opened up. Then, the invasion force, or to be more precise, the first wave of thousands, came out. ------------------- end of part 10

Thanks for all the support ( and bumps) during my absence. I will now repay your actions with PART 11. -------------------------—------------------------ Part 11 - the beginning of the end ------------------------- Andre was laughing hysterically when Logan walked out of the Comms room. "What is it?" "We've been..." Andre gasped for air "We've been rescued!!!" "What's so funny about-" "By a 13 carrier!!!!" Andre exploded with laughter. "God damnit." -------------- In fact, there WAS a 13 carrier hovering right next to the escape pod. The frigate was massive, about 600 feet long, and the arsenal it sported on the outside was impressive. Huge turrets, missiles and the like stuck out from it, and the main cannon was in the primed position, elongated and glowing. The moment Logan saw the Centurion, he remembered. ----------------- His chances of escaping were impossibly small, and he wondered why he was even doing it. Gunfire filled his ears, coming from every direction. Sprinting from his hiding spot in the corner of the armory, grabbing a pistol as he went, he ran up to a soldier, wrapping his cuffs' chain around his neck, and pulling. Using the soldier's knife, he broke his shackles. ------------------- The elevator was still going. Logan stood nervously, trying not to show any signs of remembrance or fear. He couldn't remember, he wouldn't. ------------------- He'd cleared the armory and the jail, now he had to make the final run. The ship was only a hundred yards away, and e could make it easily. Dissapearing, he ran towards the ship. Almost there, almost there.... And then the mech appeared. ------------------ The elevator came to a halt at the sixth floor of the Centurion, and the group walked out into the main chamber. Ammunition lined the walls, soldiers scrambled everywhere. But while this minor chaos was happening, a mech was walking towards them. General Stronsburg strode forward in his metal body. A huge scratch mark went across his right shoulder, and his glass head-case still showed signs of cracks. ------------------- The human machine opened fire on him, and he had no choice but to fire back. Bullet after bullet went into the glass head, but none hit the human head within. Seeing his guns-blazing retaliation didn't work, young Logan charge at Stronsburg with a knife... -------------- I trust you've heard about the one we call Angel? - The General asked. -------------- The machine countered Logans assault by grabbing his arm and pinning him to the ground. Logan spun around, wincing as his arm twisted, and sank the blade into the mech's right shoulder. Tearing the knife out of the robots shoulder, Logan made the last stretch to the ship. ----------------- "Yeah, we know about Angel." "Good, good" Stronsburg said, rubbing his right shoulder in sad rememberance. ----------------- The ship was well out of range of Centurion's cannons when the General tapped his right shoulder. - Angel program initiated - The message played throughout the whole ship, but only Stronsburg saw the message flashing: -System corrupt or incomplete- -Missing control unit- Young Logan crushed the CU, glad to be out of that hellhole ------------------- "Oh hello Logan. I've been waiting for your return."
-Angel Activation 90% Complete- -Angel Activation 95% Complete- Stronsburg stood in his protective bunker, carefully observing everything that happened in the procedure. The body was complete, now the bio-engineers just had to run the tests. The control unit had been installed, but it was a poorly created spare. Besides that, the General was confident in the Angel program. -Initiating Starting Tests- The body started to move. ---------------------------------------------------- "And so, because of a certain REBEL screwing up EVERYTHING, we now have a rogue, alien-enhanced, super-telepath trying to destroy all life as we know it. Any questions?" The past half hour had been spent discussing 13's plan to shut down the Angel Program. When Malak had explained that her mission had failed (at which Stronsburg had laughed) and Andre had said that she was infused with some kind of green crystal, Stronsburg became nervous. "Did the crystal glow?" "Yeah, I think it did." "Then we have a problem. Not only was she originally deffective, she's been connected with the Zorgon. This can't be happening! Six thousand years ago was the last time the Zorgon were ever seen! We're doomed. There's no way we can live through this. We're screwed! --------------------------—----------------------- Meanwhile, the 13 bioengineers had taken Mike and began working on the Archangel, a weapon designed to shut down the Angel once and for all. Mike had offered to use his powers to improve it, but they had rejected him. ------------- "Ok, so... Even though we know we are going to die anyway, who's ready to fight?" Stronsburg took on a serious tone. A loud applause came from the other members at the table. "Lets do it." ------------------------—------------------------- Logan stood there, admiring his new blade. With the permission of the bioengineers, he had created the ultimate knife. Ten inches of Ilondirium, a detachable explosie blade, was attached to a custom-fit grip, with a button to detonate the blade. "I like it." --------------------------—----------------------- Malak stared at the crossbow. Made of pure "soulsilver", as the bioengineers had called it, and fit with a bolt holder and sniper scope, it was a feat of biomechanical engineering. A crossbow of ultimate quality, attached to her by genetic binding, was he weapon. Her crossbow, her victory. She was going to war, and she was going to kill Angel. --------------------------—----------------------- Andre couldn't help but try it on. The gauntlet was magnificent, a flamethrower attachment made just for him. His power would be amplified by it. He liked being a pyro, if he got to burn stuff. --------------------------—----------------------- The Centurion fired up it's engines, headed towards the planet Tuken, the 13 homebase. Angel was going to die, and the Zorgons were to be destroyed.
Hey guys! Today, I'll be trying a different writing style. I'm not saying it will be good, but I'll try. So, anyways, enjoy! -Please post feedback on the Chat page- -----------------------—-------------------------- Part 13 - retaliation - ------------------------—------------------------- Angel awoke suddenly to the sound of machinery. Whirring and buzzing came from all sides, and she could hear faint whispering in the background. These sounds, they brought memories, memories of what used to be her. -"Angel Program Activation complete"- "Will it work?" "Yes, everything's in order. Scans have been run, brain activity is normal, she should be working fine." Her eyes opened, and she squinted in the sheer bright white of the room. Looking around her, she could see all sorts of tools mounted on mechanical arms. A drill here, a needle there, something that looked like a sword, and all other shaped and sized devices surrounded her. She sat up. And here she was repeating the same thing three years later. But this wasn't rebirth, it was an enhancement. -------------------------—------------------------ While the four rebellious misfits were preparing for war, and while Angel was being enhanced, Horren was busy defending his home. The strange mechanical beings had appeared near his mountaintop, and they were making good progress razing the forest he called home. He stood atop his peak, looking down as his creations tried to eliminate the threat. Unfortunately, no matter how many super-enhanced monstrosities he sent down the mountain, the collosal humanoid machines simply brushed them aside like leaves. Horren had only one option left, and he didn't like it. The hiker that had climbe up the mountain earlier had gotten his food eaten by Horren, and now the poor soul he kept in the cage for safety (as he liked to think of it) had to be manipulated so that Horren could keep his home. Walking into the cave, Horren said gently, "arise my minion," and then the man began to change. -------------------------—------------------------ -Alert! Alert! Abnormal activity detected on Pandora! Zorgon presence detected!- "Alright, ladies, and lady, let's go!" the General bellowed. "We've got an army of returning PIAs and a rogue biomachine to destroy! Let's move!" Logan picked up his blade, sharpening it one last time. Andre put on the gauntlet, tightening the nuts one last time, and checked the efficiency quickly. Malak tightened her bowstring and adjusted the scope. Mike put on his backpack, which housed the CHZ3, yet to be used. After the last preparations were made, they all stepped into the drop pod. "Now you guys be careful. We don't want anymore screwed-up Sourcers." -------------------------—------------------------ His eyes opened, and he surveyed his surroundings. Machinery everywhere, a numb sensation where his heart should be, and Angel being operated on. "Angel!? Where the he'll are we!?" Despite the several painful-looking machines tearing at her torn-up leg, she replies calmly, "You're home now." -------------------------—------------------------ I apologize for shortness. I'm busy today.
Part 14 - Fall of Pandora -----------------------—-------------------------- Mike had always dreamed of being a Drop Trooper when he was younger. He would imagine the whistling of the pod shooting through the air, and he would imagine the tremendous impact of the pod when he landed. Private Zilla, he would have been, but when the pod launched to Pandora, he started reconsidering his dreams. -------------------------—------------------------ "Alright, ladies!" The General yelled, "We're going in hard, and we'll be landing in hell! Expect a crapload of fire, and expect to be maimed, if not killed. According to our records, these buggers are damn near invincible! However, they do have a weak point located - ****!!!!" The pod's wall blew open, tired apart by an explosive shell. The pod began moving every which way, and the incredibly loud wind whistling wasn't helping with Mike's nausea. "Everyone stay calm! Just get a chute and try to move towards the hole!!!" The General was sure glad his mechanical body had a megaphone installed. Almost instantly, Malak had torn her parachute from the wall, put it on, and tried to float towards the gaping maw where wall used to be. Andre had his chute on, and was following quickly. Mike simply threw himself out the hole, activating his glidepack. Stronsburg was about to jump when he realized Logan was having trouble with his seatbelt. A piece of shrapnel had gotten it stuck. -------------------------—------------------------ Oh crap, Logan thought. He kept trying to break of the belt's buckle, but the shrapnel had melted the buckle with it's heat. Everyone else was freefalling, and that could only mean the pod was falling faster. All of a sudden, an idea popped into his mind. Desperately, Logan reached for his knife. Malak, Andre and Mike had jumped. It was only him and the General. Finally finding his knife, Logan stabbed the buckle. It broke, and he stood up, andbegan to float. Then he realized that Stronsburg had jumped. -------------------------—------------------------ I can't put anymore today, sorry guys
Part 14 - Fall of Pandora (continued) ----------—-------------—------------—--------- Logan floated towards the gaping tear in the pod, checking to see if he was forgetting anything. He was fine. Finally reaching the hole, he pulled himself out, and was immediately pulled up by the rush of air. That was when he realized he was just above the tree tops. -------------------------—------------------------ "Screw drop trooper! That was wack!" Mike exclaimed when he took of his trashed glider. Andre was the first to reply, "I agree. By the way, how the he'll did we even get here? I'm still confused about that." "That," Malak answered breathlessly,"is a simple question. Angel appeared, I tried to kill her, and you guys decided to tag along after she almost destroyed you." "Sounds cheesey," Logan chuckled. Mike reacted instantly to that remark by taking off his backpack, and laying it on the ground. "Speaking of Cheese...," Mike punched in some numbers into the backpack's keyboard (yes, backpacks CaN have keyboards) and it began to unfold. First, it began expanding. Next, the thinner sides of it unfolded, and like a gymnast's arms, lifted the rest of the backpack. The bottom of the pack opened up to reveal unfolding legs, and the whole thing began to elongate. A small spot in the center of the pack, just above the keyboard, began to glow. Then the humanoid robot/backpack stood up completely. "Fully weaponized, at 7'3, capable of lifting 6,000 pounds, heavily armored, and able to use any Source, I present to you, CHZ3!!!" Mike stood back, grinning ear to ear. "Holy ****, that is cool" Andre whispered. "Ladies, let's move!!!" The General bellowed. ------------------------—------------------------- Horren saw the little man fall out of the sky-rock. He watched as the poor soul crashed through the trees, and into the middle of the clearing: the very same clearing where his man-creature was headed. --------------------------- Logan felt like crap. His bones ached, his head hurt, and he was pretty sure that his left wrist was broken. But he didn't have time to care about those, because he was watching several 10-foot machine humanoids shooting the living crud out of some kind of behemoth. A 15-foot Goliath, the creature was man-like, but with glowing red eyes, massive clawed hands, a huge arched back, and no hair. He could only watch in horror as the beast charged at a Zorgon soldier, as he thought that was what they were, and tear the thing in half. Ten more followed, but the last simply touched it, and the massive freak was impaled by a blade that came out of the Zorgon's hand. Then, the soldier turned, and Logan finally saw what these legendary destroyers looked like. -------------------------—------------------------ All was quiet on Reach. The Solstice station was completely silent, far past closing time. However, the generator was left on, and 13 was monitoringtbe area closely. There had been reports of strange purple crystals developing on the tracks, and around the powerplany maintanace track especially. Steve Randall sat in his laboratory, observing every single slightest change in energy. It was boring, but it was good pay. Steve simply stared at the screen, watching the line go sideways across the screen, and falling asleep. Just before he dozed off, however, Steve noticed the line shoot straight up, the energy meter flipping from 6 to 1,294 to 35,782. The levels kept rising insanely fast, and Steve could hear a high-pitched whistling as it rose. 60,000. 725,820. 2,395,032. It wasn't possible! Then, as suddenly as it had spiked, it dropped to 0. Not only that, a satellite image showed him that the station was gone. 13's Gunner had moved again. ---------------- The scientist's shadow began to morph as he jotted down the details. Just as he finished the last scribble, Luther attacked. ------------------------—------------------------- Hey, Hidden! That writing style didn't work! Not for me, anyway... I hoped you enjoyed part 14 of Fading Fast. -------------------------—------------------------
Chapter 15 - Bump -------------------------—------------------------ B.U.M.P. Cannon ready - the machine announced. The Biological Unscrambler Mechanos Pulverization cannon was meant to be used as a last-resort weapon against the Source, but CESTOS had no choice but to activate it. Hovering above the Jail, as the Source containment unit was called, the B.U.M.P. Cannon began to glow. Within minutes, all the Sourcers on the planet had been anhialated, seperated from their Sources and then pulverized into dust. "It appears as though...."CESTOS'S mechanical voice faltered,"There is another player in this game....." 13's biggest failure, and it's biggest fear besides the Zorgons, had returned. --------------------------—----------------------- Author's note - you thought I was gone? No, I just didn't have any ideas. I hope this BUMP has you excited and waiting for more!! I'll be more active starting tommorow.
The Zorgon was t anything like what Logan had expected. It looked like an octopus inside the helmet, with only the octopus's head showing in the glass. Te rest of the machine's body looked more like a human, only about eight feet tall and covered in glowing lines. He stared into the octopus's cold dark eyes for what seemed like an eternity, until there was a flash of light. When the light faded, Logan saw the Zorgon soldier standing among his companions, now dead, and he looked..... different. The soldier now looked almost exactly like an eight-foot tall metal human, except the head was a short tower on top, glowing lines crossing it at various points. The whole machine was covered in what seemed to be... Bullet belts?.... And it now held a huge rifle. Logan was amazed by the things appearance, but the rifle... It was something else. A huge barrel, with several glyphs carved into it, ended at a huge goat skull, an the rest of the weapon was composed entirely of two Red sheets holding a ribcage together. It was the size of a Gatling Gun! "uerwa-ak,.... Do-yo'da.... Hello..." "Dont come any closer!!" Logan held out his knife and aimed the explosive tip at the head. "I come peacefully. Do not worry. I am a traitor. I have come to help the Hu'ma-anz..." Logan nodded in false understanding, and pushed the emergency rescue button on his watch. He could already hear the carrier flying over. "Um.... What's your name?" "Belias the Conqueror. Now I become Belias the Traitor, but my people have gone mad over the Sa-k'rom." it replied "What in the hell...?" Incoming transmission -Are you insane!? You're TALKING to a damn Zorgon! Get out of there!!! G.S. -No, listen! He's a traitor! We can use him!!Logan -If I had even the slightest bit of common sense, I would reject that excuse. Bring him aboard! Stronsburg out --------- This part was crap.. Please post in chat what I did wrong..... So tired...
Part 17 - Preparations ------------------------—------------------------- Malak bolted across the catwalk, leaping over the gaps in the metal surface. She sprinted over to the edge, just about to jump across the space to the next building. Her leg became a spring, and it uncoiled, launching her into the air. About foot off the edge, soaring like a bird, she glided through the air,... And then a hand grabbed her from behind, a knife put to her throat. Logan had caught up to her. ----------- "Where are you!?" Andre yelled as he sprayed flames into the abandoned building. "Come out an fight!" ------------ Mike barely avoided the flames, but he still got burnt. Ignoring the pain, he still ran towards the staircase, trying to reach the metal. After thirty seconds of running, he finally reached it, and charged it. Now he just needed to get to the roof. ---------- "I don't want to kill you," Logan whispered "You Fail, then," Malak spun and knocked Logan to the ground, raising her crossbow. "Well, if this isn't the most awkward moment in my life, I don't know what is!" Malak didn't react to this very well. She started to laugh. She kept laughing and giggling untilshe staggered backwards, and fell, splitting into a thousand digital pieces when she hit the ground. --------- By the time the building was an inferno, Andre had become too impacient to see Mike get to the roof and throw the electric rail. He continued spraying fire into the old apartment, but when the bar hit him, he exploded into several digital bits. -------------- Logan saw mike. He ran, and he jumped. Completely invisible, he easily ran behind Mike. Raising his knife, he smiled wickedly. The blade went into Mike's back, and the simulation ended. ---------/----------- Good work, you have performed excelently. If you can kill eachother, you can kill a Zorgon. Alright, go to sleep. You need rest for tommorow's attack.
