Then good for you that you could sell him many times. That's when you make money on allies. The plunder bonus doesn't do so much for you in the lower levels because upgrades are cheap and give more.

Wandering villagers sometimes discovers your spies even though your stats are much better than your opponents. It's like a random failure that happens sometimes and it's really annoying.

Wen someone attacks and in like meh they hav low spies I'll steal back from them then "u were unluckily discovered by a wandering villager" like 3 times in a row!
