Re: Modern Republic Hello team! We are growing! Lots of exciting things in the works... We are looking for you guys to step up and launch us to the next level! We're currently considering members for several positions. If you are interested and can help the Modern Republic grow, then express your interest by posting here in the forum. Let us know which role you prefer and anything special to help us decide. We will make a decision over the next few weeks based on participation and activity with the group. (Hint hint: start acting the part now so we see how great you'll be at it). If you are already a Guard, you can still sign up for one of these positions. We’ll take all the help you’ll give. We have the following positions open. Each team will start with one team leader and up to three coordinators. - Moderator Team - This team stays on top of the forum, responds to messages, keeps targets on top few pages, encourages helpful messages, makes sure issues are getting attention by resolution team, gives awards to active members (just recognition), suggests who is deserving of volleys, hands out inactive farms to standout members, etc. - Recruiting and Membership Team - This team oversees that there are consistent posts in world chat and Palringo Kaw Group to recruit and carries on discussions there as needed. It makes sure the messages are attracting members who are loyal and active. Reps will help come up with pre-approved slogans to use. It verifies that new members are not in other clans (advanced detective skills will be taught by LilCrip). This team also makes sure that once people have passed their two day wait, they are added to the roster. It maintains the updated roster. - Investigation and Attack Team - This team responds to claims of farming, researches them, and works to resolve them. They keep target status updated on the forum. At first this team will be closely guided by insaneTitanium, LilCrip, and Charlemagne to understand their style of calmly resolving issues before they get out of hand. They will present the research findings to a Rep for approval to make farmers official targets and will communicate findings to the member. They will delegate attacking for each target to up to four members to make sure the target stays pinned. We also may need to replace our Advisors. The positions have been filled by LilCrip and MuffinFTW. Both have been promoted, so I’m not sure if they want to keep this position or not. Guys? - Advisors - Advisors help new players learn how to grow quickly and are available for questions. They work closely with the moderator team and also follow up on walls with members that they are working with. They come up with educational posts to keep our members learning.
