Ok say thats accepted. What about under 10m cs has a bracket to play in n learn etc. Slightly lower rewards n Maybe call it..... The Acolyte Wars
Go where u have interest then. Who cares if ur lost n found this thread that concerns u not at all. War before u comment again here or kindly find another sandbox more suitable for u. FYI nooblet this thread is for post war S5
S5 lousy Why??? - too many ppl warring without a clue. Question shouldn't offseason be a period of time to train for the season??? If u dun war during offseason - u shouldn't be allowed to war in season - bs penalties. If u caught spamming or moling. U should he kicked out for the rest of the season. Only idiots would penalize the alt - u punish the main! - wars stats r bs. Successful actions dun tell us anything. Tell us how much gold each account leaked and our inc win and losses as well out our outgoing win and losses. - devs disapproved of stacking yet one huge issues of s5 is that devs are stackin ps all on 1 side - what freaking hypocrisy. U seriously tellin me that devs can't adjust a roster. Any moron can see a roster with 8 ps and the other side with 2 ps and figure out of side with 8 ps is going to get blown out. I'm been playing this game for 5 years. Warred hard but honestly this has been the most frustrating season. The devs uncaring attitude is the final straw - I discussed my issues with ATA and i came away from our conversation realizing they dun care at all cuz they are lazy. I mean I thought they cared lil but they dun. S5 has been terrible, these recycled promos r a joke now. Is it me or is all this startin to get old and stale?
If a player benefits from a stat bonus in a war then it should count when determining what tier they are placed in, and how much they pay. Inactives need to be handled before the war. We could make a "report for duty" button 5 minutes before war or something. After the fact punishments such as losing all Ee do nothing for the inactive's teammates. If we cannot preempt the inactivity, then multiple offenses need to be handled harshly. On a less serious note-can we have a 5 minute half-time break? You know, give the smokers and people who need to drop some weight a bit of relief? It might make for a more cheerful cc. It would also give a wc the chance to regroup and refocus the team.
S5: pros- 1) I see a renewed interest in war from many accounts that grew frustrated with the roster stacking issues from previous seasons. Yes I know many will dispute this and I accept all have their own opinions regarding this but I have seen more interest in general which is ultimately a good thing . 2) the rosters are randomly assigned so for those complaining about "leaks" "eb fairies" etc... BOTH sides have the chance to be assigned a few so having a solid plan and working as a team can over come this in the vast majority of cases. For example, I have retained my SDT but had shed ADT awhile back. While I realize I will have to tower my troops back up its nice to have the opportunity to war while doing so. In the wars I've participated in i haven't hurt my team and have done well. 3) Indy war format allows mids and other builds that were previously excluded from war to have the opportunity 4) those who complain about inactives or lack of crystals ... This isn't a S5 specific gripe I hear this every season and every season has a "wall of shame" And 5) previously if you wanted to war and actually win you had to join a top notch clan, pay for seals, and commit many hours to a build that may only be most effective at EE. This format allows players greater flexibility and, from what I've seen, the big difference is the ability of the wc and tracker as well as willingness of team to work together and be unselfish. This seems a good thing to me. Cons: 1) the matching system DOES seem to stack many PS in one side and more attack builds on the other. Perhaps build type can be considered in roster construction to even this. 2) there is less accountability in this format as one may only be with a group for a single war 3) there is little time with a new group of faces to prepare for a war. Perhaps 90 minutes as opposed to 60 mins would be better for wc and tracker to be selected, SS to be constructed, etc. that may be too much time just an observation 4) in a random Indy war it's just fun. But to compete in a season and meet your goals many players prefer to war with those trusted and/or not against friends, spouses, etc. this is just something one must live with as it's the nature of an Indy war with random rosters- but it's something not all like so it's a con. 5) players who are wanting to "learn the ropes" of EE are poorly served in this type of season since they aren't with a clan who can mentor them over a longer period of time. This causes experienced players to get immediately frustrated by having a "noob" on their team and causes newer players to grow quickly frustrated and turns them off of war. I'm not a EE expert in fact I have limited experience. However these are just observations and opinions as asked for by the OP. I can say I've enjoyed this season thus far and I would point out that one goal is to encourage MORE interest and MORE participation in EE from the community at large.
Thats a pretty good overview Junkie thx Some good posts so far identify both the good n bad things. Purpose for us is to keep inputting n prioritize the biggest issues n work down. The hope is to produce a comprehensive plan for future EE that serves the majorities best interests. No special interest groups. We need more VETS to chime in with solutions to tweak the biggest problems.
Basic EE building blocks: - 25 vs 25 or 20 vs 20 - Inactives lose ALL EE - Inactives can be booted after 10mins by a VOTE of unanimous 4/4 from admins. - Rewards TBD possibly Rancor style - EE war profile added to everyone - War Vault n gold automatically returned after war. A fee of 5-10% would suffice. - WC can be muted for war This is where i see the starting point n build on from there. Add or subtract what u like. Keep it in point form for easy reading pls
You got 300 loaves for winning a war. Hence all the noobs filling up rosters for a chance at a huge load of loaves that they wouldn't otherwise get, which was through their noob eb rotations. Now harrowing is over. Some people have acquired a liking to indi war. Even as they suck, they still war. But S5 is almost over. Now all we have to remember is how the devs ruined S5 by running another event at the same time and trying to create "inventives" to war. None of these noobs want to pay for this game. They'd rather not even pay money for xtals to war properly. They think war is their free replacement for hte. Plus, they don't lose any loaves if they lose a war. They don't care! They just want to play that 300 or nothing gamble for one hour and then jump back to their home clan and continue doing their noob eb rotation...
S5 is OK not fine. Its basic for me i cast WOC n see if a WC n Tr n war. Win or lose won't miss S5 much at all. A rather blase season IMO overall. 53 wars 72 medals to date n about 65 estimated overall out of 112 wars. An outside chance at 100 medals. I cannot say the time spent was anything special. If not liking war to simply war was my idea of fun i'd say S5 is a poor effort for the long wait. Offseason looks very boring to look forward to more than usual. I cannot even begin to think how difficult it was for Asia/Aussie TZ ppl. Much left to be desired n work left to do to be a global war season n fair for all to say the least. Hope more new ppl have had fun n learned a lot n more ppl war after seasons end. GL
Revised repost: Basic EE building blocks: - 25 vs 25 or 20 vs 20 - Inactives lose ALL EE - Inactives can be booted after 10mins by a VOTE of unanimous 4/4 from admins. - Rewards TBD...possibly eg Rancor style - EE war profile added to everyone - War Vault n gold automatically returned after war. A fee of 5-10% would suffice. - WC can be muted for war...nuisance ------------------------------------------------------- excerpt BASSENGINEER's thread to add CHANGE the KaW Scoreboard: The NEW "score board" should show: 1 - Plunder made and Plunder lost... What good is it to make 1 bil in plunder but leak 4 bil? see which players (eg PS) LEAK 2- Xtal usage - it would be nice to see who actually xtalled but cannot see Ops. 3- How much incoming a player has had during a war...a player might have low actions due to an excessive amount of incoming. Currently no way of knowing this.
Still in need of constructive input/tweaks. Clan war ideas also welcome in the event they still exist n survive in the future.
Not sure that's true in all cases. I didn't see very many who didn't have an actual interest in war leave their ebs to gamble on loaves (at least in my bracket). Fast eb rotation gives more loaves per 24 hours than participating in this particular Season. Most were looking for HTE. While I'm sure you're right in some cases I think you might be selling some people short. Many want to war and have a genuine interest, but were excluded from the opportunity previously as in the past only a handful of clans were actually successful in war and if you wanted in you needed to drop build and be a sh unless you were a leaderboard tank. To the OP point I will say that their should have been MORE wars in this season as some time zones really had little opportunity to participate unless they drank an awful lot of coffee and went without sleep. Constructive ideas: 1) add "failed actions" to the war roster. Currently only successes are shown. In some cases this will help with determining whether someone as completely inactive 2) lock ally profile to eliminate the possibility of PS opening up and throwing the war. Yes this would eliminate strips too 3) restore the ability of a clan to pin their own member 4) some have mentioned a war vault. It's a good idea as there is already a war tax on actions. 5) EE vets - those who have participated in and won a fair amount of wars - could have a badge distinguishing this on their profile. This shows other players that it is an experienced account. What good is this? Well first it allows younger players to recognize a leader or mentor when matched in Indy, allows clans to see a "reputable" player when selecting folks for entry to a war clan, and is a nod to those who have warred enough to know what to do. 6) add a "check in" button 5 minutes before war starts. If a player doesn't check in before the war starts he's disqualified. So would this mean a team might be down a person or 2? Yes. But better than a completely inactive open leak.
