Is EE a PRIORTY

  1. DotB 13.6b Division 1 13.4b Final score

  2. After watching DOTB vs DIVISION 1 war tonight, it became apparent that self regulating signups might be a better way to do certain wars. Both teams knew each other were signing up for war, and the rosters were determined based on that (CS?) knowledge. Got me to thinking...

I am going to OVER SIMPLIFY this idea, but does it make any sense for EE war?

Lets start with PRIMAL. (No BFA or BFE - raw stats only)

Instead of always leaning on the devs to match teams, why can't the same devs set up a simple parameter, and let the clans fill the slots per war time?

    The Idea

Set up optional war divisions where you pick your team to MEET the minimum CS but NOT EXCEED the maximum CS for that division and meet the 15 player criteria. (Plug in real cs numbers but I will simplify with single digit representations.) The spread in each division not exceeding a REAL TEAM VALUE of 50M? CS DIFFERENCE from min to max in team total.

*A lightweight divison CS range may not allow for an LB (too big) / SH combination.

*A middleweight division CS range may allow for an LB/SH team (but players would recognize that in advance and choose their team accordingly).

*A heavyweight division CS would allow for LB/larger builds but having too many SH wouldn't allow them to meet the minimum criteria.

    Lightweight CS division: 1 - 2

    Midweight CS division: over 2 - 3

    Heavyweight CS division: over 3 - 4

Get even number of teams in a division for easy matching. If an odd number in a division occurs, last entry doesn't war. Puts the initiative on clans to sign up sooner than later - first come first served basis.

The divisions themselves could have multiple matches per war time. No one misses out except the last "odd" team to sign up.

(Devs could add more divisions - This is just for sample sake)

This way you can enter a division based on what you can or want to recruit for a team or predetermine the possible size of an opponent. The war would then be a closer match based on CS and YOU (the players) would have the control to select a division for matches that should occur with more equal opponents.

All the devs need to do is set up the signup ranges and let the clans/teams select the appropriate sized team and division to enter.

    Workable solution/idea/discussions?

  3. This makes entirely too much sense to ever actually happen lol. Another added feature to prevent stacking would be have a min CS for each individual based on each bracket. For example the 300mcs bracket min CS is 10m. So a clan can't put up a 100mcs tank a 100mcs PS and 13 2mcs SH/statless.

  4. Perhaps adding another stat on the profile page for EE wins, and everyone over 100 wins gets put in a separate Indi bracket. The experienced warriors can have (hopefully) a leak free war, mole free? (it'd be harder to get alts in), and people know how to xstal :)

All of the noobs in their own bracket to fight it out. Soon they figure out they should add towers to increase their chances of doing better in War. Soon they figure out that if they xstal, it increases their chances of winning. By the time they're good they can get bumped up to the experienced bracket and immerse themselves in the strategy and challenge of warring with veterans. Then they can make lasting connections and partnerships to reinvigorate clan wars ;)

The noobs in the noob bracket will need to change to be good, and won't be carried anymore.

A rising idea in education is the idea of self-learning, when concepts stick better when students figure it out for themselves. (And letting students who grasp the concepts move on)
