He said "item drop," so he must be referring to the EB items. @OP, no one yet knows what the trigger is for the drop. More testing is needed.
This is probably happening because either the person who performed the pre-determined action at the "item drop HP" of the EB either already had...
Using the already stated approach could also be used to interpret and test your theory as well. On the other hand, your theory would make data...
I wonder if anyone else realizes that if the drop algorithm is connected to a specific action and point in the EB, figuring this out is going to...
Thank you for stepping up. I followed you back.
Saving this post for when we figure it out
I'm still open to crunching the numbers if any clan wants to provide the data.
This is essentially a rewording of the method I proposed earlier, thus I support it. I got the item from Destroyer and City of the Dead. In both...
So I think we've heard enough objections to how and why it's impossible to figure out whether it is, in fact, "completely random." Is anyone ready...
Brilliant idea! This would easily dispell any speculation about the possibility of the drop being connected to a specific HP point of the EB.
I disagree, actually. If CGP's suggestion is true, then discovering the trigger would be relatively simple. Have the clan attack in waves: one...
Despite the fact that this is a total thread hijack, I'll give you the link. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=83498&start=10#p2273363
Please elaborate on this.
Second link appears to be broken.
Does anyone else find it annoying that people don't read through the entire thread and repost things that have already been addressed - namely the...
This sounds like the best approach so far - at least from a pure data acquisition standpoint. I'm good with exel. I'll crunch the numbers if...
This is not true. We have had people wake up to getting items after having gone to sleep before the EB was over.
@Belle, I wouldn't mind making a spreadsheet of possible ideas to track what works and what doesn't (if you haven't already done so yourself)....
