    I agree, the Battle Cry spell should only count down while there's an epic battle active.

    Battle Cry - New Clan Plunder Buff

    Maybe atleast adjusting it to disappear while hitting the epic battle, so you don't accidently click on it after clicking on the "X" button? :)

    Remember that the Battle Cry counts for a maximum of 100 players, while the Crux Chests are only for one player! :)
