You must meet the top 200 prior to matchup. If you do not then the option to signup will be unavailable. Hypothetically if you were to create a clan to participate in the war exclusively. You would need to create a clan 1 day prior to matchup and achieve a ranking of top 200.
The start is when the war starts officially, the war times have been posted on the original post. The 12 hours is the wait time after matchup and before the war officially starts. If you drop below 50 members during the later 12 hours, your clan will forfeit.
So KAW gets the equivalent of the football association league cup in the UK. A competition with restricted entry that most people don't care about !

So theres really no point warring until the final lol? All we get is a few mith. Which we probably use more in the war.
The way this works is all clans have 8 wars, whoever has the most prestige at the end of the wars will go through to the finals so the last clans in it WILL Merc, the members who got them there will be forgotten about and replaced with better stats/war experience players. So the very last war will be filled with lb players and people who didn't bother will all the previous wars. Realistically the smallish player that will have fought all but the last war will get dumped before they get any of the final rewards, after wasting billions on Mith and Pots.
