You wake up to the sound of a your alarm clock. Pidgggy! Pidgggy! Pidggggy! "Ughh... I'm awake, I'm awake!" You say annoyed by the alarm clock. You get changed and remember it's your birthday. You just turned ten and you get your very first Pokémon! You go down stairs just to get squashed by your mom's hug. You hug back weakly before pulling away. "So your adventure begins once you get your first Pokémon, eh?" Your mother sighs. "Yup, and I can't waste ANY time!" You say nodding towards the clock in the room. "Oh, well, I'll see you once you get your Pokémon." "See you soon, mom!" You say running to the Professor's Lab. You open the door and see Prof. Oak. You run up and say, "I'm ready for my Pokémon, Professor!" "Okay, pick from these three Pokéballs. Remember you will be this Pokémon's partner forever, so choose wisely." He says. "Hmm... Who to choose?"
'Bulbasaur would level up and evolve quicker, but Squirtle is sort of slower meaning stronger, but Charmander would be the slowest... Hmmm...' You think to yourself. "I've decided," You lower your hand onto a Pokéball and say, "I choose you, Squirtle! Come on out!" You throw the pokéball and in a red flash a Squirtle appears in front of you. "Squirtle!" Your first pokémon says. You pick it up and Professor Oak hands you 5 pokéballs and a pokédex. "Here are five pokéballs to get you started. Also I'll give you mu new invention, the pokédex, it instantly records pokémon you've incountered or caught." "Thanks Professor!" You say running out the door. You stop to see your mom with the towns people, cheering and shouting, 'Congratulations!' and 'Well done!' "Here's your bag, I've filled it with spare clothes, underwear, your pj's, food-" She says before you cut her off. "Moooom! You're embaressing me in front of these people!" "Ha ha... Sorry. I guess this is goodbye, huh?" She says sadly. "Yup, but I'll come visit and show you all the neat pokémon I catch!" You say knowingly. "Ha ha, okay, now go show those pokémon who's gonna catch them!" "Bye mom!" You walk over to Route 1. You stop and say, "Well, this is it. The day I begin my adventure, and dream of being the world's best pokémon trainer!" You fist-pump the air after your speech, your determined to fulfil your dream!
You walk along the path and stop, you turn round to see a wild Pidgey in the grass. You sneak up behind it and send Squirtle out. "Go! Squirtle! Use Tackle!" You say. Once Pidgey's health is down you take a pokéball and just when your about to throw it you hear yelling. You look to your right and see your neighbour, Ash Ketchum being chased by a huge flock of Spearow. You return Squirtle and run with Ash and his pokémon Pikachu. "Ash! What did you do?!" You yell. "Umm.. Well... I... I tried to catch a Pidgey but Pikachu wouldn't listen to what I say. The Pidgey flew away, and I thought I saw another but turns out it was Spearow and well... Here we are!" He splutters. You run and stop at a cliff. There's only one thing to do. You look towards each other and nod. You jump off the cliff hoping you don't die. "Ahhhhh!!" You say together.
Squirtle and Gardevoir are my favourite pokemon, I never knew why though... (P.S. Guys, please post in the Feedback page. lol)
You splash into the water and start to swim to land. When you get there you see a girl standing over Ash, giving him a scolding for not taking care of Pikachu. Sighing you say, "Uhh.. Hi. If you could leave Ash alone for, um, two minutes? We're trying not to get our eyes pecked out." She looks at you and says, "Fine. But he better take care of that pokémon!" You look down to where Ash was. He's gone! You turn round to see Ash riding away! "Wait! That's my bike!" The girl yells. "I'll get him... uhh..." "Misty" "Misty, right. Oh damn. The Spearow are coming back!" You start running, your heading for Ash when you hear, "Speeeeeeearow!!! Spearow! Spearow!" Oh no, Spearow is right behind you! You keep on running and soon you are tired, but you see Ash right in front of you! You pick up the pace and crash into the bike. You all fall down. Ash brings out Pikachu's pokeball and says, "Pikachu... Get in the ball. I won't... Let Spearow get you." He places it next to Pikachu and stands up. You bring out your pokeball and say, "Pikachu... Look after Squirtle, yeah?" You place it down and stand next to Ash. You both nod and yell, "SPEAROW! COME AND GET US!!!!!"
